It's a '67. No side marker lights that would be on a '68.

TheHuntermoss the easiest way to tell a 67 apart from a 68 is the side “scoops/molding” right behind the doors. 67s have the tow rectangular looking scoops like you can see in the video. 68 mustang have a single molding that is typically chrome. There are other small things to look for as well but they are less noticeable In my opinion the 67 side design is more aggressive

Yah your right Brandon C. though I noticed the vents on the side 67's had 2 vents per side where as the 68 went with the single vent. Nice mustang though.

this is a 1967 not 1968 Mustang. The side scoop molding the the front grille is 1967.

You can tell the difference between a 67 and a 68 by looking at “Mustang” lettering on the side of the cars. They started using a cursive Mustang after 67.

Clearly a 1967. 68 mustang's have lights (blinkers) on the fenders. Was not available on the 67 mustang.

i may be crazy but ive always pronounced it vay-lence not vah-lence also with all due respect this is a 67 not a 68. the immediate clues is the blinker scoop hood is a 67 feature and the side vents are 67 vents because they look like “gills” rather than a single scoop, i also noticed there are no side reflectors which is indicative of a 68. but its an honest mistake to make they are quite similar models at first glance

You are correct except for one thing, turn signal indicators in the hood were an OPTION, for both 67 and 68. My 68 has them.

The pony and corral on the grille looks like it came from a Mustang 2....it curves up. 67 Mustang....no side markers...or somebody stupidly removed them. Beautiful car.

Oversized wheels on old cars don't look good. It's a shame people do that.. 15" max!! It's bad enough that all the new cars have big wheels, but now they're ruining the old cars!! Having said that, this is a nice looking car.

It does have the scoops and I checked on the mustang decoder to make sure and it is a 1968 made in san jose California it did have the fender side lights but my dad have a 67 that was totaled and the 68 fenders were too damaged and I did put the 67 front end I still have the 68 fenders but now it really looks like a 67 because the quarter panel side lights were shaved as well but the title says 68 its complicated but the side scoops supposed to be for a 67 though

This guy's is why you have to be CAREFUL when buying old classic cars from companies like this. Its not a 68. These guys are young, born decades after these cars were built, so they are lost when representing them . You can get really screwed paying big money for a classic car you think is valuable, only to find out, its not what they said it was. I was at a place like this, looking at a 57 cadillac, guy says to me its the ORIGINAL engine, and Transmission. I'm staring at a chevy 350 sitting in there!!! Original engine is a cadillac 365 .
