I am so in love with this story. Learned so much about the Tiffany girls. I knew that they're beautuful and valuable lamps but nothing else. I love stories about strong independent women. Thank you for this soothing and educational experience.

Thank you so much. I know it didn't resonate with some, but I find the lamps beautiful... and thought it would be nice to honor these women who really found ways to bring beauty into homes around the world. Wishing you the sweetest of dreams.
@michellequehl36059 ай бұрын
@MichellesSanctuary it was more about the history of the women being independent artisans in an age where depending on marriage was the only way to survive. It was way more than the lamps only. I guess some people don't appreciate things past face value. Lamps were a medium to give them freedom to be creative in a time of control. I would love more stories of powerful independent women.

I just subscribed today. I've listened to several of your stories. They're all so great. This story was so informative. I listen to your stories as a relax down before going over to Stephen's to sleep. You have a beautiful and sweet tone of voice. I just can't sleep to a female's voice but I love your stories and the graphics are awesome and relaxing. I hope someday you and Stephen Dalton can collaborate on some stories since you two are my favorites. Love from Mississippi ❤. 😊

I adore the #history inspiration. I had a vivid b/w dream a few nights ago which was set in the 1950s. I remember wearing a double-breasted linen suit, and my girlfriend (whom was African-American, btw) also dressed formal with light colored cotton/chiffon clothing. I dated a black woman WAY back in the 1980s but this was not Vickie; no clue whom she was, nor what city we spent ‘that afternoon’ in springtime whilst on a date. I can’t recall any tinges of color in that dream which is rare for me in vivid longer dreams of mine. My new CPAP device is a nasal unit, not full mask type. I’m still getting used to it causes unusual sounds within the sinuses due to its air pressure. I no longer need to awake at 4:30 AM so I’m back on late-to-sleep rhythm too. This January seems packed with changes, reminding me of one of my past administrator’s favorite quips: “Shift Happens!” There’s a great ol’ REO Speedwagon tune for that. I’ll be thinking of you with Jack tonight. 🕊️🙏💕

I actually had a hard time following this because I didn't even know how to picture it in my head. I didn't know what the lamps actually look like when they're finished so it was difficult for me to visualize hopefully other people could enjoy this and know exactly what they were trying to visualize in the story.

I highly recommend doing a google search for Tiffany Lamps. Sometimes a sleep story is a good way to learn something new.

The video has endless pics but picture stained glass church windows and mushroom shaped lamps mixed

I will research what they look like. When I listen to a guided sleep story I don't look at the screen. I just have my eye mask on and just listen and relax that way. But I will research with the lamps look like because it definitely is a beautiful guided sleep story. Only got through about a quarter of it and it was really good but I just couldn't picture in my head what the lamps look like but I will research and listen again thank you

I watched the gilded age series through the first season but gave up after that. Too soap opera like but liked the fashion and the story line but acting was too melodramatic. This story is a nice tribute to unknowingly creative women which history has surely neglected forever. Women’s rights and equality is still trounced by the paternal boys club across every strata of history. The shirt factory fire the women who applied radium to watch dials in NJ using their tongue to create a fine wick the unequal pay the rampant discrimination against qualified political members etc. we tend to take one step forward and twenty backwards year by year. Frankly it’s tiring. Now I’ll get off my soapbox. The story is fascinating intriguing and put me to sleep three times before I heard the whole thing. Given the circumstances you wrote it it’s a friggin miracle and if it helped you feel better I’m overjoyed. It evoked lovely images for me but also a simmering rage that I’ve already written about and then a bit of sadness with the gold tinsel. You’re facing some tough times. My wit fails me when I empath pain from others. I’m encouraged by your ability to see the beauty through the pain. Each day is a blessing each breath a miracle you are an inspiration reminding me of that. ❤

I'm quite surprised that this hasn't been made into a film--- it is tiring. My takeaway writing this piece was such deep gratitude that I get to be creative and not have those restrictions or need to ever ask for approval to write. And that, is mainly due to people like you continuing to show up for me!
@aleximalmgren53019 ай бұрын
This one is a bit sad that they weren;t allowed to marry. I mean why is it that creators of beautiful things have to pay a price like that. Male artists get it as there is not much money. These were getting a steady paycheck but would have to give it up for love. I doubt they would have been as happy as you make out .
@MichellesSanctuary9 ай бұрын
The only letters we have are from Clara, and historical records depicting the fun events they went on to Brighton Beach and local parks. It’s a sanctuary here. Everything will always focus on beauty where I can. And the positive that comes through. That’s what this channel exists… even in times or circumstances that are completely imperfect.

Was kind of the same in Australia when my gran was girl. Most left school at 15 went just went to a factory. Girls just saw it as a place to wait out the time till marriage. My Great grandfather got great granny pregnant in the depression to avoid the shame of her going back to work. @@MichellesSanctuary .
