I’m so happy you got The seven husbands of Evelyn Hugo. I would dare say TJR is my favourite author at the moment and I love the “celebrity universe” she created. Just finished reading Carrie Soto is back and I could not put into words how much I liked it.

Me too! I wish I never stopped because now I struggle to read books. As in, I’ll start reading books but then give up half way (or less) because I get easily distracted now lol. I started to listen to audiobooks instead, which are good but it doesn’t feel the same as physical books. My goal this year is to completely read several books, because last year I got about 20+ books from the library & I didn’t finish any of them, not even one 😭😭

Also, let’s say I read a chapter today & then stop, the day after I’d have to start from the very beginning again because I forget some of the things I already read 😭. I actually hate that

​@@onaematopiaI say try reading a physical copy of a book through its audio format. I get distracted easily too so reading through an audiobook with the physical or e-copy in my hand makes things much simpler for me. And I read faster with it too.

I’m half Japanese I’m sure you’ll know more Japanese than me by the time you finish learning a language 😂 I can’t even read a Japanese book unless it’s translated. I’m really curious about crying in h mart so I will look up for that! The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo is a good book and you would not expect anything about the real love of Evelyn and why she is connected to the journalist. In my opinion the author was a little bit superficial with description and some ideas were good but they weren’t developed really good.
