I am knitting myself a pair of Chantal Mittens by Moreca Knits, and crocheting a huge granny square bag for my sister-in-law. I really enjoy your podcast so much! I am a native english speaker but I really appreciate how you speak so clearly and really enunciate, I think your podcast would be excellent for english learners to listen to :) Happy Holidays from a Canadian living in Ohio USA!

Thank you for your cozy vlogs! I found you this summer when the book club cardigan was coming out and you helped me to decide to jump into my biggest cable project to date. I'm currently working on the book club cardigan body while I watch. I've had my eye on the Jenny cardigan too after I made the baby cardigan for my 5th 2 years ago. I hope you and your family have a Merry Christmas.

Morgan I am just finding your channel and love what you are creating! Thank you for sharing inspiration ❤ I am feverishly trying to complete a Musselburgh hat for my son in law! And then when that is complete I’ll get back to my test knit for Sanna and Co. I also have a book club cardi on the needles but just today I saw that sari has a bookclub pullover in the works!!! Oh the dilemma! I would love the sweater version! That’s ok I’ll carry on as planned. So many knits, so little time! Merry Christmas to you.😊

thank you for being here 💛 I absolutely love my Book Club Cardigan, my favorite make this year and ever! I noticed her teasing a pullover in the works, can’t wait to see it 😍 well wishes finishing your gift knitting and very happy holidays!! 🎄🥰

Your Jenny Jacket looks gorgeous, I love Luxury and especially in Stone. You will love your Ranunculus I’m sure, it’s my favourite knit. I have one in Fibra Natura Papyrus, it’s not the coolest but it’s good for the in between weather. You knit to bring you joy so it’s ok to cast on something new ☺️Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 🌲🎄

thank you so much for being here & for your encouraging kind words! 🥰💗 Bendigo is great & I love how my papyrus ranunculus turned out. do you have other Aussie yarn recommendations? Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you as well!🎄
@bernbee167917 сағат бұрын
@ I buy a lot of indie dyed yarn but commercial yarn is either Bendigo or Nundle Woolen Mills 😉my white for cuffs/ toes etc of sock yarn I buy on a cone from them. Oh and Virgin River I have a love hate relationship with 😁

@ noted!! thank you!! and same, that’s why I watch it in bursts. it’s quite heavy and can be very emotional and triggering at times 💔 but I’m so invested in the characters and enjoy watching.

I’m also going to cast on the Dagmar Zipper sweater! I already did my swatch and the only thing in between me and the cast on is my gift knits for Christmas. I think it’s going to be my Christmas cast on 🤭 Hope you have a lovely Christmas and New Years with your family ❤🎄

Your enthusiasm with your Jenny jacket is making me want to cast it on. If I had the yarn I would be doing it. I Doha e the mohair but knit the other yarn. I am not sure which one to use.
@morganunraveledКүн бұрын
thank you!! it’s sooo much fun & so beautiful. the Jenny jacket can be knit with any fingering weight/4ply yarn held with a mohair - hopefully you’ve got something in stash or can treat yourself for christmas 🥰

I just finished all my obligation knits including a blanket I’ve been working on since April. So I sat here and knit on the Felix Pullover which is one of the few “selfish” projects I’ve started in the last 8ish months 😊

I have knitted 2 cardigans and 2 sweaters.. but I have avoided patterns with german short rows.. they make me so scared 😂 but I know I must try some day. Just dont get when I supose to turn how many stiches and so on. I have watched a ton if videos but like how do I know have many sts to stop from 😂 so scared. You are so talented. Wow
@morganunraveledКүн бұрын
thank you so much! I somehow evaded them for a while too, unintentionally! I wouldn’t know when to turn if I wasn’t following a pattern, the pattern walks you through where to turn, just don’t forget to do the “double stitch” turn. you can do it!!
@claraphiri418022 сағат бұрын
Hey @KarinA-kk1wq I also avoided them for a while, but this year I decided to learn some of the “scary things”. And like you, I also watched endless videos on how to do German short rows. But, like Morgan said, it’ll make more sense when you work on them in a pattern. I made the Semper Sweater by The Knit Purl Girl. So well explained and not scary at all 😊

Working on the sleeves of my Auguste sweater while watching! One of my goals for next year is to finally knit Andrea Mowry's Wool and Honey and I've picked some nice goldenrod colour wool for it. Not sure if it will be my first cast-on of 2025 but I do plan to buy the yarn in early January!
@morganunraveledКүн бұрын
that sounds gorgeous! I bought a beautiful copper merino silk yarn for a oslo or chestnut sweater 😍

@ that's going to be beautiful!

What a lovely new cast on. I almost feel tempted to make the pattern as well, but then again, my goal is actually to trim my make list for 2025 instead of adding more patterns to it 😂. Almost to the lace motive at the end the second of my Calliope. So close... but will probably finish after Christmas with all that's going on during the holidays. Having said that, Merry Christmas!
@morganunraveled6 сағат бұрын
I hope you have a wonderful list of makes whether the Jenny makes it on your 2025 list or not 🤍 merry christmas to you as well!

I laughed so hard when you were talking about Virgin River knitting 😂 It's horrible! I'm also watching season 5. It looks like they are all making the same scarves since season 3.

hahaha probably 😂😂 to be fair they are a sewing club so maybe they only dabble in knitting… and it felt like Charmaine was pregnant for 5 years LMAO

Gauge swatch on the iPhone?? Wha??? Could you explain a bit more? Your ranuculus top looks beautiful! Beautiful last project! I love the stitch pattern!
@morganunraveled23 сағат бұрын
after I gauge swatch I just take a photo to markup so that I don’t forget what needle I used! I used to forget what needles I used for my swatches. thank you so much 😊
@wendykelcey124623 сағат бұрын
@ oh ok thank you. I misunderstood. I thought a programme actually counted the stitches for you. I often muddle that. Taking it a picture and using markup is perfect! Thanks again. Enjoy your warm Christmas!🌲
@morganunraveled23 сағат бұрын
I wish! I muddle that too. you can note the gauge with the markup as well if you are going to unravel it!
@wendykelcey124622 сағат бұрын
@ yes. Great idea. Might be easier to count with a picture. You can make it bigger!
@morganunraveled22 сағат бұрын
@ I’d definitely count it with a real tangible ruler, the markup feature is just a way to keep track of the information :)
