As a teacher that puts off a lot of hobbies until summer break, a basket would be perfect for summer mornings. So many times, I put so much pressure on myself to do everything instead of just enjoying the moment. I end up with choice paralysis more often than I would like to admit… a basket would help provide peace and clarity to each day ❤

I have a tray that I use instead of a basket for gathering relaxing items to set the mood for cozy time. I gather a book, journal, my nature inspiration cards, a fun light source, my fav lip balm , a snack and drink! I also gather my Kalimba, fav picture of BTS and put on my go to oversized hoodie and get comfy on my bed or couch, surrounded by pillows and blankets! Lastly, I put on a fav cozy murder mystery, fantasy or Godzilla on the TV and just settle into a cozy day 💜 it is the best!

My favorite cozy murder mysteries to binge watch are Midsommer Murders, Rosemary and Thyme, Father Brown, Vera, Agatha Christie’s Mrs. Marple, and for a bit more chilling and atmospheric, Hinterland and Broadchurch! Usually these shows are on paid streaming sites like Acorn Tv and Britbox but I believe Midsommer Murders you can stream (with commercials). I found a KZbin page that has uploaded a lot of murder mysteries, full episodes and seasons, called Murder Mysteries. Happy sleuthing 😃

I actually never heard of the cozy lifestyle until I stumbled on your channel, and honestly it has helped me alot to realize how truly important it is to take care of yourself. I've always tried in a way, but have felt selfish for spending money on myself or taking a whole day to do things that weren't "productive". I think the hobbies/cozy basket idea is a brillant idea! And it also helps for those of us who have any guilt or uneasiness about taking the time to heal and nutrure ourselves.

This is so cool!! In the book, Refuse to Choose, a book all about people who have too many interests and lack a clear direction in life, the author also mentions have this kind of hobby or project cart, but having a basket is so much cuter :) Love that this concept is gaining traction IT WORKS!!

The treat basket is a fantastic idea! I may make something similar to avoid scrolling on social media. When taking a break, I don't pick up hobbies or activities that bring me joy, but go straight on my phone (maybe also because I'm feeling guilty about taking breaks), assuming it would take me too much time. Having a basket of already selected treats in my studio could motivate me to go and grab something instead of looking for my phone Also, who else like me is UNABLE to throw away cute package boxes? I could make endless treat baskets with them

At first I was dubious as to whether this would work for me, because I'm pretty ruthless on not spending money (having kids who need all yo money will do that 😂) but then I started mentally cataloging all the things I *could* put in the basket as you made yours - and I i think it'll work! Hi Kennedy!💖 after months of stress and depression I am slowly getting back to doing self care and cozying up with a book or a cozy game or a small crochet project as a form of relaxation, so I've been gravitating towards your videos a lot. Have you played Spiritfarer and Cult of The Lamb? They are both super cozy, even tho Cult of The Lamb can be quite difficult sometimes lol. It's super cute so it compensates for the frustration.

As someone who struggles with realizing or acknowledging when I need a break or cozy time, this is really helpful. Also bc of your gaming content I have also gotten more into cozy games and viewing gaming differently. Hi Cozy K i had a nice chill day today I played some animal crossing and I got everything done ✅ that I needed to get done for today now I have to wait for my new villagers to move in ❤😊 I think tomorrow I am going to work on decorating my island 🏝️ and make it look nice 😊 probably plant some more flowers 💐 and when leaf comes to my island I will buy bushes and flowers and possibly some vegetable 🥕 seeds from him ❤😊
