What about the hose to the CPAP machine? Does it sterilize the inner tube of the hose?

As long as you run it in the full clean, dry, and deodorize mode. It should ventilate enough to help on the CPAP tube. But it would not be 100% effective in my opinion.

Hi, I notice yours says 59S on the front, what the difference in this one and the one that doesn't have the logo of 59S?

You can use a power strip as long as it is not overloaded.

When you turn it on, then lift the lid, do the led lights come on? Then insert material to be sanitized and close the lid and hit start.

The lights should not be on when you lift the lid. Only when it is closed.

HI there, will this be compatible with the ClimateLineAir Air Tubing of ResMed AirSense 10? If so, can you show us how to do it? Thank? I new that Lunin Bullet is not compatible with my Air Tubing, I am hoping this one is. I hope you will find time to address my question. Thanks.

This will work with any tubing that you can fit inside. It does not do the greatest on the inside of the tubing, but if it fits in the box, you can use it.

How does it clean the inside of the tubing. The tube itself will block the UV rays from killing any bacteria or viruses.

It really doesn't do a great job inside the tubing. It will help to dry it.

does it make your cpap hose have a smell? I used another sterilizer and my cpap hose was left with a burnt smell

Why don't they make a string of uv lights that can be added and inserted into the hose and for some the water chamber as you stated the light needs to hit the areas to be sterilized?

Not at all.

Sterilize and Sanitize are not the same thing. Splitting hairs but for accuracy sake. Sterilize is 100%. Sanitize falls just short of that.

Can I put my clean and wet CPAP supplies in it? Will it dry it as well or do I have to dry it first.

It should be a least dried off a bit. You would not want it to puddle up in there.

What are all the parts of a CPAP machine will it clean? Will it sterilize the hose? Can you use it on the headgear?

Certainly does great on the headgear on any setting. The hose is a little different. They recommend using the full sterilize and dry function if you are putting your hose in the Paptizer. The UV really needs to hit the areas directly to sterilize. So the inside of the tube can be difficult. The circulation of heated air and UV does help with that on the full Sterilize, and dry mode.

Would it be a problem if I go ahead and wash my mask then dry it a little and then put it the mask in this machine? Or is better just to be the mask all dry

You can do it either way. Don't put it in their soaking wet, but damp should not be an issue.

Thanks for this review. I've read the comments too, but I'm not clear on whether this can also clean the water tank. If I empty the tank in the morning, and put it in this machine, will it clean and dry it?

Yes as long as the tank fits (most do) it will work well for that.

I don’t trust this will sanitize the inside of the hose. UVC is blocked by almost all plastics and even glasss, therefore the inside of hose may not get sterilized.. The heat is not nearly high to sterilize. (Oct 22) I have emailed the company this question, hopeful of reply. Any thoughts folks?

It definitely will not do much for the inside of the tube outside of helping to dry it out.

Here's some advice for your KZbin channel: LEARN the difference between the words "SANITIZE" and "STERILIZE." (There is a major difference, both medically and scientifically.) Your video falsely states the Paptizer device will "sterilize" CPAP equipment. The machine is NOT capable of producing "sterile" conditions. At best, the device "may" perform some forms of "sanitization," but it will definitely NOT "sterilize" any objects. I suggest you delete or correct this video so CPAP/BiPAP patients are not mislead by your erroneous medical statements. °°

This is a complete waste of money. You still have to clean your supplies. Let them air dry for free.
