I've got a classic 76 flanked by US General locker and side cab. Rather than spend a ton at snapon for a wood work top, I spent $100 for a 1⅜ slab of red oak chopping block from Menards. If you look at my early videos you'll see em. I am not going to spend on the truck anymore, and it's videos like this that inspire me to keep not buying new tool storage. Keep the custom boxes coming guys, let's see em!

I did video on 98 3500 service truck I own. I have listed to sale due no where to put it to fix it. But if I found a place should I tear engine down see if any damages since was extremely hot when I put coolant in it trying get home and made it in the engine oil. It is 5.7 vortec with distributor. I lost when comes to distributors and timing them etc. Or should I put diff engine and go throttle body on it? If I find your email Id email you. Or you email me just take LLC off and no spaces between words at g mail

Man I’ll tell you what I’d like to is the us general 34” bank cart with the us general locker cabinet on it.

I had that us general tool cart 7 years ago & let me tell you what that thing was built like a tank, I had that thing over loaded with tools, everything still opened & closed as should, I ended up selling it to the Mac guy & bought a husky toolbox from Home Depot

Hello CP, TOOLHAULICS, & Friends: CP, Terrific video sir. Your video precisely covered the gamut of tool box creations + the creativity of the owners. I for one have a considerable amount of Snap On tool boxes but I also have a garbage Freight roll cart with Snap On bumpers. I don't use the roll cart that much so it fits my needs without me having to pay 4 times the amount of cash for a Snap On. Yes I would love to have a Snap On roll cart with sliding stainless steel tops but as a business person I can't justify the cost. Great video CP & as always my best to you and Henry, TMP from N.J.

I suspect that green USG in the beginning is a lot more stable with that box underneath. I have an old Craftsman my pop gave me and was looking for an intermediate chest to stack between the roll cab and the top box. Presently none available

This video really intrigued me, I enjoy custom toolboxes that were either custom built or mass made by the manufacturer. My father has a NHRA Gary Scelzi Matco toolbox that he bought in late 1999 for $6-7k back then by trading-in his used craftsman toolbox. Only 500 of those matco NHRA Gary Scelzi boxes were made.

I have a blue 42 inch us general and also a 5 drawer tool cart. I think today I am going to combine them by adding the cart to the side of the 42 inch. I received the 42 and almost immediately regretted not purchasing at least the 52 inch version. I outgrew the 42 inch within a week. Lol... I went to harbor freight and the time frame to receive a 52 inch or a 72 inch is like 4 weeks now. Necessity breeds innovation...

Great boxes. One of the best home built boxes I saw was made by Back in the Shop. He used some Lista cabinets and lockers that he mounted on a custom frame. He had it well organized with custom fabricated organizers. He needs a car trailer to move it. He also fabricated his own top side creeper. Really talented guy.
