A Skittles Wrapper probably not because Madden doesn't reflect real life football, he may be but that's only because Madden is all about finding trick plays that score against every defense. Something impossinle in the real NFL. Also Brett probably hates how Madden claims to be "simulation football" but everything is scripted and based on dice rolls and animations not physics.

This is all great, but you're forgetting the Jaguars' strength. It's what gave them the very catchy nickname that spread through the fan base - Sacksonville. While you're more concerned with coverage and how to get advantage in the secondary, the Jaguars defensive line is going to slaughter Eli Manning. They will push him around the pocket, forcing inaccurate throws, or straight up take him to the ground. Either will put the Giants behind the chains and negate the entirety of this 4 step process.

So the Giants have thirty-eight days to work out a counter-plan to the Jaguars' defence... but the Jaguars also have thirty-eight days to work out a counter-counter-plan. That's what makes sport so interesting. One thing you don't touch on is that none of the Giants' schemes will work if they can't keep Calais Campbell and Yannick Ngakoue and Malik Jackson and Marcell Dareus out of Eli Manning's face. The acquisition of Nate Solder notwithstanding, I think the jury's still out on the Giants' line. In short, CAN the Giants find a way to put points on the board against the Jaguars? Yes. WILL they? I can't wait to find out.

He did mention how to contend with the Jags D line. Run the ball, and take advantage of their tells. Jax has a good DefenSe, but they played against a lot of bad offenses last sea. & they were not great vs the run. If they played Phi for example. The Eagles were the best team running between the tackles & the best on 3rd downs. So they would have been a tough match up, and exposed Jax's weakness & had better success vs their strength.

The Giants upgraded their OL. Yes they have Flowers at RT, but the 49ers had Zane Beadles and still won. I'm not sure if Manning can get rid of the ball as quick as Garoppolo, that's key when playing strong pass rushers. And the other side of the ball is another story. Steelers lost at playoffs because they couldn't stop Fournette to save their lives. find a way to stop Fournette, and bumass Bortles will lose the game.
