Craft Room Tour - Vintage & thrifted Decorating Idea For Your Craft Room - 2021 Studio Tour

How did I decorate my craft room with vintage thrifted finds? This craft room is packed full of art supplies. I used thrifted items to organize my space. Hope you enjoy this tour.
This craft room may not look that fancy, but it's fun to create in. I also keep things are are spacial to me such as my kids projects and special gifts I have received over the years.
The small black shelving was from Ikea. I don't believe they have them anymore, but have shelving a lot like mine. I painted mine black.
The 100 year old German desk came from Germany when my husband's aunt lived there while teaching school.
All of the glass you see was thrifted, and are great for organizing small items.
All the art on the wall was created by me and my girls when they were little. The photography is also my work.
I am a mixed media artist, and work with a lot of different mediums. I love doing assemblage projects mostly.

Very pretty! I love seeing old pieces reused. I don't know if I would be brave enough to use the milk glass (Fenton?) and moon and stars in my craft room but it looks great. I see so many white rooms these days it's nice to see some color, even the tones of your wood pieces. Great job!

Hi Peg. Did you know that's how I got started in collecting milk glass. Other crafters on KZbin used milk glass to keep supplies in, and that's how it all began for me. I'm planning my cottage garden for my new yard. Do you have any favorite flowers that do well here in Minnesota? I'm trying to research what grows well here. I hope you do more garden videos too. I love your pond. I may have to ask how to build one of those. I think I'll go back and watch your garden videos and take notes. Oh and, I finally get my greenhouse. I'm going to tap into Tom's shop for heat and electricity so I can be out there in the winter and at night.

I few things are starting to come up now, but keeping them growing seems to be the hard part for me. They start out well, then flop. I'm hoping for better luck this year. Love your desk the most in your room. You could buy clear picture frames to put your stamps then stack them. You also still have room for a shelf above your window. My dad put one up for me and I is so nice to display sentimental items. I would rather have cabinets and things in my craft room that are unique and not a all white IKEA craft room. Your room is the best one that I have seen on a video ❤

Hi Laura. Great idea for the stamps. They are a bit disorganized aren't they? At one time, I had them in cd cases, but I'm such a messy crafter. They never got put away. I thought about a shelf for above the window. That would be a great place to display items. Thanks for the suggestions!

Hi Meridith. It came from Revealing Heaven.com. It's actually a sticker. It says God and man as one forever. One triangle represents the Trinity, (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The other, man. (body, soul, and spirit) To me, it's having such a close and personal relationship with the Father that it's like we are one. Hope that makes sense. Thanks for asking.
