Great informative video Kandye...love the new overhead camera holder, great close up of your stitches. Would you please show us how to attach the penny to a larger penny or to background fabric. Your work is lovely! Thank you and take care from Arizona 🌵

I'm sorry to hear about the soap have you tried Amish soap that is made I think ashes
@cabincrafts2239

I've tried every soap, Amish soap made from ashes makes lye which is really hard on me. I've tried goats milk, olive oil, etc. Problem is, if you go to a public restroom, you must wash your hands, you also have to shampoo your hair. I have a prescription for severe eczema and it has taken care of most of the problem, but when you're doing life, you're constantly having to wash your hands!

@@cabincrafts2239 I am so sorry my husband is allergic to soap too and it's hard to find what he can use to so I can understand what you're doing I myself you that I'm a soap because it works good for my hair and everything I will pray that you will get some kind of relief from it I really appreciate your channel hugs and kisses to you and the Lord bless you

@cabincrafts2239 I have eczema as well. It's definitely no fun and can get pretty painful. I have found my biggest relief from removing gluten and dairy from my diet, then healing my gut. When it comes to shampoo, I use Castille Soap. I also use the Castille bar soap and I have been symptom free. I know eczema is different for everyone. I'm not sure if what works for me will work for you. I do hope you find something that works. Maybe even bringing your own soap in public settings might help. God will help you figure it out in the end. God bless.

I LOVE these designs!!!!!! So gonna make some!!!!! I just ordered both of her books. I have loads of felt from Hobby Lobby and Walmart. I so love this idea. I travel for my work with my family and I always carry hand sewing with me. I usually make English paper piecing but this will be my new addition! I want to make a penny rug for my Christmas nativity set. Any suggestions? And by the way, my home is VERY Early American. We use wood heat and I cook on a wood stove in winter in the deep south, if that gives you any idea of how much I love Early American. We live on a 7 acre homestead with a small animal farm and vegetable and herb gardens. I have a Victory garden and a medicinal garden. Over the years, folks have given us furnishings and fabrics, tools of all sorts. We so love our kind of rustic mixture of eclectic up to the 1940s. Life is so much more creative and interesting that way. I make, sell, and teach handicrafts, mostly sewing, quilting, crochet, stuff like that. This is why I love your tutorials so much. The wealth of creativity from this period amazes me. I love your choice of color. Thank you for sharing your wealth of knowledge. By the way, thanks for being real about your hands. With all I do, there's no way I would have fancy hands. This is just reality, right? We are productive women. 😊

Thank you so much for all your kind words! For your penny mat for Christmas, you could do it in shades of cream, beige and white, or cream, very light blue and white. So.ething a little different from traditional red and green. It could look like a blanket of snow.

Thank you so much for sharing these beautiful projects with us. I ordered felt sheets from your store, when they arrived they were rolled up into rolls, can I use my iron to iron these out flat? I can’t wait to do some of the projects you showed us! Love you Kandye!

Yes you can iron them! That's is how they come to me from the manufacturer. They are made in the US so you can iron them!

You're welcome! You can make appliques in whatever shape you want, you'll just have to put them on a background piece. Make all your little heart pennies first, then arrange them onto a background piece of wool felt and cut around that whole outward shape, then sew them all down to it.

Sometimes I get a little lackluster with being creative. Well a lot of times. When I view your channel I always feel uplifted and get inspired. Looking forward to the penny circle mat kit. Thanks Kandye, I appreciate you.❤️ ps I have your app now on my phone, I like that.
