As a part-time contractor I have used my tools weekly for the last 8 months and put them through quite a bit and I've had no issue whatsoever they have all worked great. One thing that's nice too is they're not overly expensive like very well name brand tools.. so if for some reason someone stole them or they walked off it wouldn't kill my pocketbook.

If i can afford to have a tool kit like this, my life would change completely and can live a better life, you are such a lucky person to have all of that.

I recently switched to Craftsman as well, but decided to go brushless due to the fact that the Craftsman brushed models cannot be repaired. An owner would have to spend roughly $30 for a whole new motor unit. Unlike Craftsman big brother DeWalt that does allow the changing of brushes on theirs.

I still use them to this day! Have built many projects, home renovations, and more with them. The only thing I wish they had was a kit with the brushless drills in it so they'd be smaller, but from a functionality standpoint they've been great.

The craftsman tools are great for the money. I love them for project and stuff around the house. Only reason I got into crafts was bc my job has them and we have so many batteries they give them to us so I had about 5 batteries with no craftsman tools so I figured why not. Overall 8 out of 10 for my needs

They look a bit large. I am guessing they are brushed motors in them, no? I don't use tool bags either. Would you say this would be good for a carpenter apprentice or more for just home owner? I have the bauer now but I have been looking at combo kits this one and kobalt. Instead of buying piece by piece
@Samcraftcom4 жыл бұрын
The limitation for apprentice use would be the battery life with these. You can upgrade to the 4.0 aH batteries but then that will add considerable weight to the package. They are durable in my experience though! I've used them for every project around here and on the homestead since buying them and my only complaint is short battery life with the larger tools like the saws and sander.
