Carrie Underwood had a concert in town May 4, 2010. Sons of Sylvia and Craig Morgan opened for her . . . I had a blast. The show was freaking AMAZING . . . When they come back in town, rest assure I will be first in line for tickets.

Me & a lot of my lived this song about 30 years earlier here in Satsuma Alabama in the late 80s. I can't count the times we would leave Satsuma High School Friday afternoon...head straight to the dirt pit in Saraland Alabama. Cases of beer on ice...bonfire wood...3 or 4 bbq grills...plenty of all kinds of food to last thru-out the weekend...nothing but 4x4's...every window down blaring Hank Williams Jr, Waylon Jennings, Johnny Paycheck, David Allan Coe, & so many more. We never had to worry about cops b/c cops couldn't get to us w/o a 4x4. This dirt pit was about 3 miles deep in the woods & the last 1/2 mile or so was where you needed a 4x4. We'd stay there the whole weekend & finally go home Sunday afternoon. Man...that's memories I will never forget!!!
