If you have enough of a space on the outside of the building after you paint it, you should consider a mural of Honeybell and Ruby. It would be an Instagram wall that people would flock to to take photos in front of. More people, more customers.

Within a few months white would be showing dirt, mold, etc. I'd go with a slightly darker color. Paint causes certain types of bricks to start coming apart over time by trapping moisture within the bricks.

Careful painting glass I know it's hard to believe but glass expands and contracts if you paint the whole window it will shatter I learned this the hard way when I painted a sign for Odd Lots a retail store here in Ohio and the glass shattered the window company told them about this and luckily they didn't hold me responsible !!

Stay away from white, or you will be cleaning and repainting often... A nice light blue with white or grey window trim and dark blue columns...

I think a grey on majority and do the pop outs the color of your logo . And then shutters with advertising mesh like the kind you can see through and peel off over time. Just my opinion

I’d paint the building a nice bright red with black trim and possibly some white accents. It’s a nice attention getting Color that would make people say whoa and pull over and stop in! Of course those are just my two non-copper cents lol

Read up on the psychology of color it’s effect on retail shoppers. Since most of your shoppers are male, I would tend to go with something really macho like matte black with white trim.

PAINT IT RED. Statistically, it’s the most attracting color for the eyes. People will call it the red building and be able to find it easily. In marketing red and yellow are the most used for grabbing attention. Hence McDonald’s.

light walls with dark trim sounds good but it turns out terrible especially with white walls they are going to look old and dirty/moldy within like 6 months. It might sound strange but you would be way better off with black walls or maybe a dark slate gray and only painting the trim white

Start by painting that rusty door first. Have one side as a mural painting of Honey, and another mural painting of Ruby, or both together on both sides. Both Honey and Ruby are full of beautiful colors. Capeesh! BTW, Nice to see the appearance of the chicken guy once again.

building color suggestion...as a recent purchaser of white siding, its blindingly bright, I suggest a dove grey. I do like the idea of the black details. That will pop.

Black & white is always classic. Paint as you described but won’t blacking out the windows restrict too much light? Depends if you do all sides that way I guess. Are you going to get new signs too? The idea of a mural of Ruby and Honey is interesting. Just has to be seen but not on front. Good luck. We’re painting our house soon and it’s soooo expensive, at least here in Oregon!

A gloss or semi-gloss in white would show every defect in that old block work. Go darker for sure. I painted my basement in white and it looked awful .

I'm a Monopoly collector (currently 1254 different versions of Monopoly at home), and know a lot about Monopoly board games. This is almost an original version. This is a copy of the original Waddingtons game. This was created for the Hong Kong market, as Hong Kong used to belong to England. Parker is the manufacturer for the rest of the market. Then there are winning movers. So only the games from before 1950 with a complete print bring around 200 dollars. The game was available in England in 2018 for 40 dollars.

General rule is darker shades for walls and lighter shades for trim, if you want a contrast. I think you’d be disappointed with white walls and black trim.

This Monopoly set may not be as valuable and rare as you think it is. I’ve seen a fair few of these online, at auctions, car boot sales and in second hand shops here in the uk. The rarer sets are the ones that were printed and sold in small numbers with ‘Patent applied For’ which were pre-patented publication by the Parker Brothers until 1937. The better condition of the box, game, all the money and gaming pieces, the higher the value. I do own one of these sets which is near perfect condition apart from very slight damage to one corner of the box. It has been in my family’s possession since it was purchased from a store in Beckenham South London in 1934. Over the years some ‘collectable’ versions of Monopoly have become highly sought after. There are now staggeringly hundreds of different editions sold worldwide in approximately 105 countries in around 40 languages. Somewhere in the region of over 300 million games have been sold across the globe. Not bad for a game that was originally created by a woman (Lizzie Maggie Phillips) games designer in 1903 to help teach and demonstrate the monetary values in property ownership, rental, financial economy and taxation.💷👞🎩

Waddington's is the British licensee of the monopoly games. Which makes sense if its a Hong Kong edition. My old school mates Granddad was the guy that convinced Waddington's to get the license from Parker and convert it to British addresses.

Yes Pete antique white with black columns black around the windows and the window frames in Black to help draw heat in the winter but you might regret painting the front and I suggest just cleaning the front with a muriatic acid it will bring it back to life and if the joints where the border is don't look too good after cleaning you can paint the joints only a color of your choice probably black or white or you can really seal it a lot better with a concrete caulk which usually only comes in Gray and I know you will keep us posted

Hmm. Paint ideas for the shop.... Two coats solid and thick of eggshell on the block walls. One dry roller/light spray of yellow. One dry roller/light spray of blue. Final solid coat in country white. Window surrounds in black with a heavy gray influence. Inner window fiddly bits a medium hickory color. Leave the glass to be decoratively treated by inside window treatments like seasonal drapes or curtains and lights.

White or cream is a bad idea as it shows dirt and grime. Go with a nice subtle green color. Behr makes a color called "Nature's Gift" that is perfect for exteriors and people will think "money and prosperity". Check it out. They also make a creamy color called "twinkling lights" that would be perfect for the trim or you could do it the other way around if you're set on a light color.

I'd paint the whole building black and have a graffiti artist come in and paint designs with fluorescent colored paints such as whites, pinks, purples, reds, etc. Nothing overwhelming with the graffiti btw, no weird graffiti writing but images, lines, murals, etc. It will give it a modern younger look, like a fancy comic book store. Check out videos on fluorescent spray paint graffiti. It's beautiful stuff and it really pops out to the eye.

I wouldn’t paint the stick out piece whatever it is a different color it would make it look cheap. Where you paint it all one color and your door red and all your other stuff another color like you said black, but white buildings doesn’t look good after two years and you would have a lot of upkeep, by the way I love your videos thanks
