This is a video that I remember watching when it aired... I was moving into the house that I live in now... I just got out of the hospital yesterday with a little heart scare...feeling better resting this morning and thought... I need to relax...watched this video... and that verse was what I needed...thank you ...

One video I always think of is when you are fishing in a small creek. You only had a couple thousand subscribers at the time. While fishing, a kid comes up to you and asks if you are a KZbinr and you say "Yes", but go on to explain that you only do it for fun and will never do it for a living. Or you say something close to that... But anyway, I think about that video all the time whenever you post a video today. You've come a long way John!! I don't post much anymore because I know you are a busy man these days. It's been fun to watch your channel grow and to see where you have taken it. I wish you continued success and look forward to seeing where you take the channel in the future!

Good evening, Brother John! Great to see this video, and you're having the kind of a day Crappie fishing here, that I wish I'd have! Thought to tell you something:On days where either Snow, Sleet, or Rain is falling, those can most definitely be some of your best fishing days. Not sure why that is, but something about the weather conditions seems to, at least at times, trigger a lot of fish to bite, that might not normally bite. Back in early 1985, a friend of mine (Who has since passed away), went fishing on a day when there was several inches of snow on the ground, and the snow had changed to a mixture of sleet and freezing rain. He might have had a bit of a tough time of things, being that the temperature was so till below freezing, but he went to a point where a smaller creek fed into the river where he was fishing, and, in that little area, he caught a bunch of Smallmouth Bass, the biggest one being probably 2.5 pounds. He was fishing either crawdads or hellgrammites, one of the two...and he apparently had the time of his life! I mentioned that he had passed away...but get this:What makes me shoutin' happy, and wanting to have Campmeeting in my soul, was that he FINALLY became a Christian, the night before he died. Apparently, he MADE SURE, that his heart was right with God! There's nothing more precious to me, than hearing about people surrendering their hearts and lives to Jesus Christ. He didn't know that, within 24 hours of him becoming a Christian, that death would come calling...but I believe with all my heart, that he was saved, and on his way to Heaven. To me, that's precious! I'll tell you this, too, as I get ready to close this text. A Man that was in a little Country Church one night had been running from God...but this one night, the Holy Ghost got to dealing with him...and he stayed ALL NIGHT at that little Altar, at that Church, and prayed and prayed, and prayed some more. By the time he got up from that little old-fashioned Altar the next morning, as the Sun began to come up, he arose from that Altar, completely saved and changed, by the Power of God! Then, he had to go to work. As it was, he worked at a Coal Mine. That day, there was a sudden cave-in at the Mine, and this Man was caught in the cave-in. They brought him out of the cave, but it was too late for him to live...and yet, just before he died, he uttered the words:"I'm so glad, that I made everything right with God"! We never know when death will come for us. Let's all be ready for either the day, when death comes...or for the day, when Jesus Christ comes back for his own! God bless you, my Brother!

I remember this video! I didn't realize I had been following you on your adventures for four years. That is crazy! I remember as a kid [74 now] fishing Carpenters Creek in my hometown. It was chock full of bass and bream with some Chain Pickeral. Then they built one of the first shopping centers/malls in Pensacola and the runoff just killed that pretty creek. I moved on to saltwater fishing but small creeks have always fascinated me. I really enjoy the wade fishing videos the most.

Mostly Black Crappie, sometimes the one's with the black stripe on them are Magnolia Crappie, a sterile hybrid. Black Crappie have irregular pattern of specks/marking all over the body and 7-8 dorsal spines, also their mouth is shaped upwards. White Crappie have vertical bar patterns and 5-6 dorsal spines, their mouth is more horizontal and larger than the Black Crappie's mouth. Magnolia crappie are a hybrid between the two prevailing species of crappie - a female white crappie and male black crappie.

Ya'll dont have mexicans/ south american people that keep all the fish up there? Lucky if you dont everywhere i fish in Texas here cant even catch a fish or two because they keep every size fish and always evade getting caught by the 1 game warden who is almost non existent except during white bass spawn, we have here for 4 big surrounding cities and 1 warden lol. Even the spillways which usually have 100's of drum are over fished saw a guy one day keep 50+ good size drum and after that they are gone
