Interestingly, if I read about it right, this is the only ever Crash level, in all Crash Bandicoot games, that requires you to lift your feet up when hanging from the bars to avoid taking hits.

Actually it's his torso that twists. He twists it in a 360 motion and then its snaps back in the opposite direction (his few seconds in the Cortex Vortex thingy turned his ribcage into cartilage so he could flex his torso so far.) His shoulder sockets could also be displaced to get that kind of a spin :p

The lava-filled ruins are a really nice touch (although I don't know why someone built a sewer over lava-filled ruins in the first place).

If this level had a Death Route (Considering that the sewer levels lack a death route), I would have probably rage quit. The narrow parts of this level are a nightmare.

Persona X Short as it is, I think the secret path that leads to Totally Fly is supposed to be this level's equivalent of a death route/gem, since that section is much harder than the rest of the level. If you notice, it has the same design of the other two Sewer levels secret paths, look at the columns with the tribal designs. The Sewer levels are weird like that, they have one regular gem route while the other two levels have cleverly hidden extra paths instead. I find that kind of fascinating.

@Ellsmells they work the same way Tails' tails do whenever he flies in the Sonic the Hedgehog games, they temporarily detach from the rest of his body and spin at blinding speeds. otherwise, both situations are phisically impossible.

they probably should have spread the secret levels out a bit more but if ur playing it for the first time, you'd probably have no idea how to find them, so i guess that u would take longer to find each secret place
