You can get infinite lives in the first snow level from the seals, actually. Edit: Oh. *I* meant by wumpas from chaining their kills. The beehive thing is cool as heck.

In the ps1 version, you can get infinite gems and crystals by using an iorn crate in the first snow level. Idk if you knew that, but I just wanted to mention it😅

@Eidenhoek so you know how you can get a life after jumping on multiple enemies in a row? Well, in the ps1 games, the gems and crystals are stored really late into this chain. Like, around 200 jumps in. Normally, you wouldn't be able to jump on 200 enemies, but arrow crates increase the counter. So, if you go to the first snow level, there is an arrow crate near some constantly spawning seals. There is a way to make the game think you haven't touched the ground even when you're on the ground, but I don't know the exact moves you have to do. I believe it's used in any %, so you could probably learn more from watching one of those.

Oh, you're in Australia too? Must be in a pretty urban place. I'm in a regional suburb and I'm constantly getting spiders all over the outside of my house. Gotta take the bins out with a torch, the amount of times I've caught one of the bastards hiding on the handle.

I would like to see you try to beat Crash Bandicoot XS and Crash Bandicoot 2: N-Tranced with every crate being a Nitro. I think it might be possible, at least in N-Tranced because in both of those games, the Super Belly Flop allows you to destroy Nitro and TNT crates if you belly flop when you are far enough away from them, and it is not that precise to do, so it is easy to get used to. And in N-Tranced, you start with the Super Belly Flop, that is why I think it may be possible. I would also like to see this in Wrath of Cortex, Twinsanity and Crash 4, even though I do not think there is a trick to destroy Nitro there.
