I'll never forget how I discovered these levels existed. I got all the clear and colored gems from the 25 levels, then defeated Crunch again. I expected a new cutscene to play, but it was the same one, then the end credits played. "I don't understand! I got all the gems! I defeated him! What else do I need?!" Then one day, literally by accident, I stepped on the elevator. "Wait! Ahh! What's happening?! Where am I going?! Wait. There are _more_ gems to collect?!"

That bear was basically an enemy from some unused snow level of some sort. They recycled a character model for Ice Station Bandicoot instead of scrapping it and letting any amount of work that went into it go to waste

The area below in the level also looks way too complex for it to not be some sorta unfinished level they used as background, unless it's just asset recycling from Eskimo Roll

The level you're referencing that has a ring race in Warped is Rings of Power. This one is immensely slow compared to that one. I personally prefer that one lmao. Also, fun fact: Ice Station Bandicoot was originally meant to be a platforming level, hence the bridge and stuff you see in the background! Great runs, Lewis. Definitely want to see you tackle the GBA games. They're pretty fun to do.

the problem with the level in Warped is that the plane controls like garbage whereas the jetpack in Wrath of Cortex actually controls well

Man, Solar Bowler actually makes me kinda dizzy watching people run it... But yeah, congrats on not just beating these, but also on achieving your newfound post-Crash 4 Crash platforming skills by continously PBing levels constantly! I really respect your efforts to reach your full perceived potential on most levels and absolutely demolishing Tooney's times, he did say he'll take a break from WoC for the time being but I'm sure over the years, your times here will serve as perfect platforming torture for the guy. I'm actually considering picking up a PS2 and this game now due to this series, at first I wasn't too optimistic but yeah no this series has been thoroughly enjoyable to watch and discuss on in Tooney's server. I can't wait for your next few streams and whatever you have planned for in CTRNF in the future, whether it be in itemless streams or in Chillzone activities after you come back from the states. Same with your upcoming reviews, it'll be interesting to see your updated takes on some Crash games.

2:16 the level is called "Rings of Power" and honestly i might agree with that, since from what i've seen the race is far more automatic compared to RoP and you're more worried about breaking boxes than overshoot the rings with a clunky control i said "might" because i never able to beat Wrath of Cortex because for whatever reason, all the disc i bought cannot load Boss 4 and i never experienced everything past Warp Room 4

the polar bear in ice station bandicoot was a land bound enemy in some very early twoc proto, when this level was a normal platforming one. after the level's direction got changed they just stuck him on a flying carpet and that was that lmao

Looking forward to the WOC streams! Just like the Crash 4 dev times, I'm going to guess which five levels will make it into the top 5 worst WOC platinum relics video. My guesses are, in no particular order: - Eskimo Roll - Smokey and the Bandicoot (it's just a shit level in general) - Droid Void (MONKE BARS) - Crashteroids - Gold Rush (it's the Rush Hour or Sunset Vista of this game) Ice Station Bandicoot (the Rings of Power of WOC) no timestamps here... Solar Bowler (this levels music is GOATed) 7:19 nearly platinum... but you fell 8:47 I enjoyed Bamboozled, rage quit on Eskimo Roll, haven't played the other two atlasphere levels yet 8:55 Yeah, mate! You tell him! Why did N. Tropy have to be reduced from a boss to, well... an obstacle... His role in this game could easily just be taken by some random lab assistant! 11:47 Noice... Sub-10 seconds! Force of Nature 16:00 FINALLY DONE.. oh, never mind... 16:13 That was me on Totally Bear in Crash 2. Got a time of 38 seconds but missed boxes, so I did another run, restarting if I missed boxes. Eventually I got a time of exactly 35 seconds. 18:23 If this is the ONLY game that doesn't take Aku Aku masks away when you start a time trial, I doubt it's intentional. I think it's either a glitch or an oversight by the devs. 20:02 "You can try and predict the five down below" Reading my mind, are you? 😏

This was a very good series and I loved watching every episode of it. Solar Bowler is the only level in the Secret hub that feels like a end-game type of level, and it's second to last for some reason. Knight Time is recycled, Ghost Town plays itself, ICB is boring and Force of Nature is weird. Solar Bowler meanwhile has unique assets to itself, a banger music track and is about as much fun as the game's gonna get

I really wish there were more Atlasphere levels. It kinda stinks how the Crash Bandicoot games never brought back the concept (aside from butchering it in N Tranced). I hope some cool and talented romhacker makes a hack that replaces several of the vehicle stages with Atlasphere levels or makes tools simple enough to let an idiot like me do that.
