Not sure why no one had thought about this; but if you take a sprig of fresh Rosemary, twist it to release it's oils and put it in the water with the rice, as you're fermenting it, the final result is the scent of rosemary versus sour rice water....you're welcome 😊

I did method number 2, what I do is transport it into a spray bottle and I add cinnamon liquid into it and put it in the fridge. I'm Dominican and my ancestors always used the cinnamon for hair growth and it makes the rice water smell good, thumbs up! Beautiful hair!

I tried the rise water as a rinse & left it on under a plastic bag for a while. I don't know how much it helped but it did seem to make the leave in conditioner apply more evenly then usual & take in moisture then it usually could so I will keep trying it. I like leaving it in a jar for a couple of days then walking away, it makes the most sense to me & is easy to make.

Leave overnight on countertop for fermentation, Transfer water into a Spray bottle Cover shoulder's with a large bath towel. (drench my hair) & message hair/scalp using spray bottle - I then cover my hair with a clear plastic cap for 10-15 minutes. Get in shower and rinse out.

Huge "Tip" for keeping your rice water from smelling real bad.. I use it in my rice water and it works great, a slice or piece of orange peel..(not the juice) just a large piece of the orange PEEL. Your hair will smell Citrusy, it hides the funk of the rice. Especially Fermented rice water that I prefer to use..👌❤❤❤

Hey, Queen. I have a couple of questions... If you use it as a “pre-poo”, do you/should you still deep condition your hair afterwards? Also, should I use a hot cap while the fermented rice water is in my hair? Your hair is absolutely fabulous by the way.

Hello, yes you can deep condition afterwards. Or deep condition before and then do the rinse. Also you can definitely use the heating cap as well.

Guys this seriously works, I tried it today and I had put the amount and then add shampoo, conditioner, added this is and it worked. I only let it sit for an hour so It didn’t grow crazy long. My hair normally doesn’t reach my collar bone when fully dry, now it does I’m so incredibly happy. 😁😁😁 Feel free to ask questions.
