Eddie i gotta tell ya your videos are the best.. one reason is the perfect mix of music and the reality sounds , we can hear all what is going on ( jeeps sounds directions etc..) plus some cool funky music both at the same time , coupled with awesome footage of the trail ,simply out standing .. just wish they were longer 😂😂, could watch your vids all day 👍

What does the bumper with the big angled hoop do? Is is for going over rocks? I noticed a lot of the rigs have them. There is an example of one @ 0:39 to 0:42
@wayalife4 жыл бұрын
They're called stingers and for the most part, they're just cosmetic. Ones like what EVO make are strong enough to help prevent an end over roll coming off a steep drop but that almost never happens. Or, at least for most people out on the trail.

Great video with awesome trails and incredible scenery. New Mexico is a hidden gem! With many Jeeps running with no spare tires on the trail and you always having one. How many times have you had to use your spare in the year's you've been offloading?
@wayalife4 жыл бұрын
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed the video and I should note that eveyone was required to have a spare. A lot of guys just carried it inside but I hate doing that as it takes up so much valuable room and I need it for the gear I carry. As far as needing a spare goes, many times and not just for myself. I have had to loan my spare to others too.

Great video! The camera doesn’t do the ledges justice. Looked a bit easier than the shake down day?

If that failed control arm would've been made by anyone else other than Evo there would've been mass shit talking against the manufacturer.
@wayalife4 жыл бұрын
LOL - Hey boy genius. I realize that paying attention isn't a strong suit of yours but EVO uses Johnny Joints on their control arms, NOT heims and at 7:45, I specifically state that Full Traction is the manufacturer of the control arm. Thanks for playing though.

What caused one of the jeeps to blow white smoke on the big ledge?

It was sitting vertically on the obstacle too long and oil was blowing by the cylinders.

Why did the Currie JL engine start smoking at 16:00?
