If MLB accepts human error as part of the game then you are going to get missed calls like that. You don’t see humans at the end of a pool in the Olympic Games pointing out who wins the race. The umpires we have are the best in the world. If you want humans to make impossible calls, then you are going to get bad calls.

You could have a whole video on perfect games broken up on the last out, although some were not televised obviously: 1908 - Hooks Wiltse (NYG v PHI) 1932 - Tommy Bridges (DET v WSH) 1958 - Billy Pierce (CWS v WSH) 1972 - Milt Pappas (CHC v SD) 1983 - Milt Wilcox (DET v CWS) 1988 - Ron Robinson (CIN v MON) 1989 - Dave Stieb (TOR v NYY) - he also lost *two no hitters in a week* in 1988 on the last out 1990 - Brian Holman (SEA v OAK) 2001 - Mike Mussina (NYY v BOS) - shown 2010* - Armando Galarraga (DET v CLE) - shown 2013 - Yu Darvish (TEX v HOU) 2013 - Yusmeiro Petit (SF v ARI) - shown 2015 - Max Scherzer (WSH v PIT) - on a dodgy HBP call

Nothing is more satisfying in the NFL than hearing ‘by rule the game is over’

the NFL/Refs just love to rape away anything good the Lions ever do.

12:09 I don't get it. How does Cousins touching the ball run out the clock? It's still a live ball. I don't blame Casey.

I was looking for an explanation too, the gameclock still had that second, he deflected but that didn't stop the shot from happening before the buzzer. How would "touch the ball" subtract gametime? If he had Possession he could wait the clock out, but he didn't.

The clock starts when someone touches the ball in bounds, this is why you see teams roll the ball to the half court line when the time is low. so the clock would’ve started earlier before he got the shot off

I always wondered about the Will Middlebrooks play, it seems like he really couldnt move out of the way on time, it wasnt physically possible, however the lifting of his two back feet seemed almost on purpose. In any case the series went to the good guys.

I noticed we never got the angle that would have showed if he touched him and I'd bet a nickel the announcer was about to say, "he's saying he never touched him."

Can also rename the video, Worst Game Ending Calls by Officials” though some of these are good calls, a lot of them are botched.

A lot of this actually reminds me how much I hate what is and isn’t considered a catch in the NFL.

As an Australian looking at grid iron I love the idea of the sport, but the "not being in control of the ball" if one of you hands is bumped off it when you land from a diving jump is crap.

7:19 of course he called him safe, It was the 19th inning. Jerry just wanted to leave and go get a Meal(s).

That Dez catch vs the packers was the worst call in nfl history the fact they didn’t give it to him is insane
