At the beginning, when Monica went from being dust and becoming a person again, that was from the previous Avengers movies. Thanos, the villain, erased half of all life from the universe. That included Monica and Wanda and several avengers. Five years later, the avengers defeated Thanos and everyone who had been erased was brought back. That’s what you saw here. Vision had been destroyed when Thanos ripped the gem out of his forehead. At the end, when Wanda saw the vision with the big hole in his forehead, that’s because that’s what visions body looked like when he was destroyed. As you can see, you got many of the answers that you needed to know and got some new ones. 😊

Ironically, the scene where Monica materialized was the first thing most viewers actually understood. But for anyone unfamiliar with the MCU, it's an even larger WTF moment that what preceded! This show begins about three weeks after Avengers Endgame, which I'm sure you watch here someday!
