Thank you so much, great tutorial. I must admit i downloaded it so i could lower the pitch.

No worries! I get it-everyone’s got their preferences. I’ll definitely work on the pitch for future videos. Glad the tutorial still helped you out, though!

Thank you Exzyte3D. This is a game changer. As far as I can see, this is the only video of it's kind on KZbin. I would request that you produce a few different detailed, specific tutorials about the precise settings, as well as watching you apply them to a real world project. Perhaps a tutorial about creating projectiles like bullets, bombs, and firing animations. Or several different tutorials. Also, animating floating objects, directing objects toward any target without traditional animation tools, combine particle effects with Force Field effects to craft tornadoes and other dynamic effects. Design snowfall and other environmental elements, like dust, with dynamic movement, just like in your description. Especially a tutorial about the S shape in this tutorial starting at 13:03 and how to achieve this. One more, at the end you have particles floating into the shape of humane model. That is fantastic. One short tutorial on that alone will get you much attention I feel. Your concepts are terrific in all your tutorials and I am a big fan of them. Thank you for staying on the cutting edge. Amazing work as always.

Great video, how do you prevent the particles from intersecting?
@Exzyte3DАй бұрын
Thanks, but if you experienced intersecting of particles make sure to enable collision on objects, increase particle size, avoid overlapping emitters, and adjust mass and bounciness to prevent intersections.

Cool Tutorial, what Text to speech are you using ?
@Spacebar-3DАй бұрын
Cool tutorial! Using botaniq you can set the flowers to editable to get a mesh objetct. Than you can place all of them in a collection. (Just for any other botaniq users out there.) Edit: Using more than two planes in the relation panel gives you a lot of control over the movement of the flow.

i hate geometry nodes! great for when you figure them out but the mess they make, its far tidier to use a dedicated lightweight particle system- but we need REACTOR back and proper old particle explosion modifier back too. i was hoping keyed particles might be the workaround of getting particles to emit from particles but.....
@Exzyte3DАй бұрын
Haha, totally feel you on the Geometry Nodes chaos! 😂 They can turn into a noodle-fest real quick! But yeah, the old particle system was way simpler, and bringing back REACTOR would be a game changer. I was actually thinking about doing a tutorial on using keyed particles to emit particles from particles! We can set up a second particle system to activate at specific keyframes, simulating those explosive effects. It’s not as straightforward anyway but with a little workaround, we can get those explosions back on track!!

@@Exzyte3D i made a simple shapekey animation of a rain drop falling and splooshing on the ground (you can hide mesh islands by selecting the verts and moving them to one place like to the curser and they can't render- good for sprite animation!) the idea being i could instance it with particles but the catch was the particles need to emit only at the start of the full animation as it loops otherwise they just randomly appear at various points of the sequence- to fix this i would need a particle rate setting (emit every x frames). i can possibly do this with a ramp texture but hardly the best way. A better feature for future particles would be to dump the particle amount (keep it as a cut off to avoid overload maybe) and use a animatable ON/OFF like a tap and a definable particle rate per second and optional alternative particle every so many frames. This will enable multiple use of a single particle session over time and make it frame accurate over using a texture to do it (without dropping it as an option of course). Reactor. Animatable tap function. particle rate/time interval settings.
@Exzyte3DАй бұрын
That raindrop animation sounds fantastic!, Love the idea of hiding mesh islands; it’s such a smart way to optimize for sprite animations! Your suggestions about the particle system are super interesting-an animatable ON/OFF function would definitely help streamline things! I also think having precise control over particle rates would make a huge difference. Hopefully, we’ll see some of these features in the next Blender update! who knows, maybe the next version of Blender will surprise us with some of these features! Thanks for sharing your insights; I really enjoy bouncing ideas around with you!

Are you using TTS? your voice sounds excellent (which makes me think it's not TTS), however, the pauses are shorter than normal (which makes me think it is TTS, however, it could be just editing)
@Exzyte3DАй бұрын
Yup, totally TTS! I just programmed it to sound this epic. 😎 Took years of coding... or maybe I’m just messing with you. I'm kidding 😅.

Where is the result? Like the rendered version, is it like in the thumbnails?
@Exzyte3DАй бұрын
Hey! Thanks for the comment , As noted in the description, shading, texturing, and lighting weren’t part of this tutorial since I focused on the trick itself. The thumbnail was rendered after applying those steps. If you'd like to see how I did the shading, let me know.

Why does the receiver also need to have a particle system on it?
@BennXdesignАй бұрын
replying to myself : I think I get it, the particles emitted don't go toward the receiver itself, but toward the particles emitted by the receiver. right?
