One of my most memorable moments happened while playing Skyrim. I was on the side of a mountain that was just short of being too steep to stand on armed with a bow. This was an essential part of my plan to kill a Dragon Priest that was too high level for me. So, I can see the dragon priest getting out of his coffin, I'm drawing back the bow to full power, with less than 2 seconds to hit the priest and stagger him before he starts flinging fireballs on my head, when my view swings 90 degrees the other way to focus on some nord 3 feet below me on this mountain side telling me to take his weapon and not to tell anyone I saw him. I had just released my mouse clicker when he spoke to me, so of course the first thing that happens when the dialogue ends is my arrow hits him right in the chest. He then starts trying to punch me to death, but two seconds later we're both blasted off the mountain by the dragon priest and I get to watch as both our flailing bodies land lifelessly at the bottom of the mountain. Blasted radiant quest system... :)

Not really a crazy moment, but one of the funniest things to ever happen to me in an open world game. GTA 4, I was cruising when I ran over a pedestrian with my car. I get out to snag the money she dropped and seconds later an ambulance pulls up. The paramedics manage to revive her and the first thing she says upon coming back to life is "now I can have some ice cream!" That really tickled me.

My best was in GTA V. I switched to Trevor from one of the other characters and he was in the process of arguing with a clothing store manager wearing an odd little pink dress. As soon as I gained control, I beat the store manager to death, as you do, and got a wanted level. A police car was nearby and the sirens flared up, causing me to nick the first vehicle I could find, which happened to be a hot pink Cali from the Valley type convertible with its radio tuned on Rihanna. So there I was, the target of a high speed pursuit, increasing my wanted level as I mowed down countless of pedestrians with a string of police cars at my heels, dressed in drag, on the edge of my hot pink convertible car seat, blasting Only Girl In The World. Good times...

The craziest thing to happen in Skyrim was quite upsetting. So there's a female nord in Riften called Mjoll the Lioness. She lives with a guy called Aerin who saved her life and they're now like brother and sister. You can hire her as a companion. She also happens to be available to marry. So marry her I did and I made a show of it. I went and got fine clothes, I simulated taking a bath, I unequipped all my weapons; after all, this was a special day. So we get married and I take my new bride back to my home in Whiterun. I set it as our new home, strip down, and prepare to consummate mine and Mjoll's union by clicking to sleep in our bed. The screen goes black, then fades back in to the view of Mjoll climbing out of the bed....with her bro Aerin staring down at her as she does so. Then as she finishes rising and starts to walk off, Aerin turns to me and says, "I've never seen Mjoll this upset before." ........WHAT!!!! Lol, now I know this line he says has to do with Mjoll being upset about losing her sword Grimsever, which is a quest you have to do to get her to marry you. For some reason, a miss-fire in the game's triggers caused Arein to remain "tied" to Mjoll, so when I moved her to Whiterun, he came along and seems to think she's still single and missing her sword. But to wake up after sleeping with my new wife for the first time to see him standing over us saying how he's never seen her so upset before was just too unbelievably horrifying and hilarious at the same time! Anyway, it took some pushing, but I eventually got Arein to "move" back to Riften...just don't look behind the alchemy table on the bottom floor of my house.... ;)

Considering the unscripted madness the games perpetuate, there should simply be a FAR CRY MOMENTS ensemble. My latest one was when a honey badger attacked a group of rebels, who proceeded to spray and pray, triggering Pagan's soldiers from nearby, who triggered even more rebels... by the end of it, half the forest and town were aflame, bodies strewn everywhere, and the flippin' honey badger was STILL alive.

One of my moments is that an elephant took an outpost for me i FarCry 4. Was being super stealthy by taking out alarms and a few bad guys, then this elephant comes charging in and takes out everyone in the front of the outpost. I am just watching from a rock.

The craziest moment I've had in Skyrim was with a redguard mage I was playing, focusing on conjuration (bound weapons). I had gotten frustrated with my cluttered inventory, and decided to drop everything I was carrying in my home chest so I could go shopping for ingots and alchemy reagents in Solitude/Markarth respectively- starting with Solitude on account of the Radient Raiment being my favorite place to clean out. And when I say I dropped everything in that chest? I did certainly mean everything, since I was planning on immediately enchanting whatever robe I picked up. So here I am, freshly fast-travelled to Solitude's gates, my character's loincloth flapping in the breeze, when I hear the telltale roar of a dragon. I flick my view towards the sky to find out if it's just passing by overhead or coming in for the atack- my screen shakes, I turn left- an ancient dragon has landed right next to me and starts unleashing a gout of flame. I pull out my bound blade and buff myself with ebonyflesh and start going to town until it takes off into the sky. I spend the next ten minutes swapping between bound sword and bound bow, healing and buffing my armor rating until finally I've killed both dragons. TheSolitude guards did /not/ help at all. They stood there, arms crossed, at the gates. Best screenshot in my library.

I just remembered a Skyrim memory. So, for most of the damn game one rule proved correct 99% of the time; if you meet someone in a cave, KILL THEM! They are not friendly. Except for this ONE cave behind a tavern. I'm not sure if I had already killed the dragon outside or I simply escaped it for a bit, but I didn't notice anyone enter the cave before me. I'm a thief, and as soon I notice people I crouch out of sight, pull back an arrow, and shoot the suspected bandit... or so I thought. I killed a villager, and no NPC was the wiser because I was hidden. Woops~ Funny thing was a couple days later I received a letter thanking me for killing the guy. You're welcome?

Craziest moment that I can vividly remember was from Madden 17. I was in a competitive match with someone online and it was almost halftime. I decided to throw the ball deep just to test my luck. The game glitched as the game believed the receiver caught the ball but in actuality the ball went through his hands. What ensued was that all the players were trying to recover the ball but none of them could grab it as the game registered it as a catch. So there were 22 players in a dog pile continuously diving at the ball at an increasing pace. This lasted 10mins until the ball finally rolled out of bounds. I and he couldn't stop laughing.

I feel like I have to mention an incident me and my wife still laugh about 5 years on. Playing oblivion, I completing the ‘Natures Path’ quest for the Divine Nines DLC. I was fighting the forest guardian in the sacred grove and the game glitched. I stupidly atacked the guardian and failed the quest, but the bear didn’t disappear and wouldn’t take any damage so I did the only sensible thing and ran. However the bear followed me... I ran all the way to the lake around the imperial city and swam halfway across but it was swimming after me. I got to the docks outside the imperial city. It was being attacked by guards, sailors, beggars etc and it was still after me. I’d been running from this thing for about 30 min so just stood my ground and waited for the enevitable conclusion...

Mine was in NHL15. Was playing in a tourney during college with a $20 entry fee. Semifinals match in OT score is 3-3. I set up a shot from the blue line, goalie blocked it up into the air. My opponent went to the goal and hit "X" to high stick the puck over the net and, by accident, hit the puck off of the back of the goalies head and the puck went in for the score. I lost the finals match, but i still have that video of the goal saved to this day.

My funniest open world moment was in Skyrim, when I sneaked up the boss of some band of robbers in a tower and spelled a firestorm directly into his chamber, which raged wildly and caused quite a lot of damage to him. When the storm was over, I heard him asking: _"Is there someone?"_

Lots of crazy things have happened to me in Skyrim but I remember one time, I rode my horse to the top of a mountain and there was of course a dragon there. I was fighting it but then I somehow slid down the mountainside. By the time I got back up, the dragon was dead and my horse was standing right in front of the body pawing at it lol. My horses are always strong!

Mine was Skyrim. A dragon lands in the middle of the courtyard for the Mage's College. Promptly gets stomped on by all the magic skill trainers unleashing their spells. Loaded back in later, and a dragon's skeleton births itself out of the ground.

Mine was something I later would do intentionally. In oblivion I was traveling around clearing dungeons with my four horsemen and the adoring fan. Which is pretty easy when you have four escorts who cannot be killed. We go into what looked to be just your average run of the mill dungeon. Except while exploring we come across a woman with ebony armor. This is still along way away from getting ebony stuff to start appearing.....and I really liked hers. So I picked a fight with her. I was dead before the my men could lay a hand on her. Still. I wanted that armor. So we go back down and this time. I summon a helper first and then hit her with a ranged attack. My men charged along with the help i summoned. She cut through them like they weren't there. Dispatched the magical being back from whence he came and later I found out she must have even killed the adoring fan. Didn't see it because after seeing my second man drop. I remembered I didn't have any repair hammers so I needed to go get some of those.....quickly. After exiting the cave and in doing so causing my men to return. I was going to think if I could come up with a plan to get my armor.....until a 6th member joined our group.. ..and it wasn't the adoring fan. The fight was on again. I didn't even bother trying to watch. I decided that my only chance was to make it to the imperial city. Since it was very close. With luck I have a wanted level and they'll put me in a nice safe jail. I get to the city gates and I thought "talos must have been answering prayers" that day because the guards drew their still and charged right at me....and past me. The fight was STILL on. I go inside the gate once again causing my men to appear. Meaning they faced her wrath again about 2 seconds later. Along with imperial guards who began to appear and join the battle. This was when the tide of battle began to turn. Since now when she dropped my men. There was someone else there to occupy her until they were able to rejoin the fight. Now I don't know how many imperial guards are killed in the final battle with mehrunes dagon but I would put money it was less than the number she killed before she finally dropped. Then I went over to claim my very damaged armor and noticed she carried a extremely powerful sword that shared a name with her. They were called Umbra. I played many a game b4 I discovered what quest she was attached to. But it's a pretty easy way to get your hands on a killer set of armor and one of the most powerful weapons in the game. Not to mention all those suits of imperial armor you can sell.

I was stealthily taking out enemies in a Skyrim dungeon with my Dunmer archer once. It was full of necromancers. I don’t selectively loot from the bodies, I just loot all at once. But for some reason, all hell broke loose, and other necromancers started attacking me and resurrecting their downed buddies. Within seconds it was one massive inferno with people in their underwear attacking me!! One of my roomies saw the commotion and was like “what in the world?”. 😂😂😂

Skyrim: There was a time when something weird was happening every day. Dragon attacks me, I run and lure it to a bandit camp which it then wrecks for me (I looted it later). It somehow ends up losing interest in me afterward, no idea how, but it flew over the hill and I decide to chase it to hopefully finish it off...and it gets mauled to death by a single bear. And the next day I saw a dragon get utterly destroyed by two spriggans. My favourite one though, was the time I was passing through a small village with a sawmill, and a dragon suddenly pops up out of nowhere and starts attacking. And at the same time, a group of dawnguard showed up to kill me (but got distracted by the dragon, of course). I panic, and summon Durnehviir, who proceeds to massacre the dawnguard while I'm hiding out in the sawmill to avoid the other dragon's fire breath. The dragon eventually went somewhere else and Durnehviir disappeared chasing after it.

In Halo 3 there is this large map called coagulation, or something blood related. They changed it each game. But it was a capture the flag match where we got the final flag on this 16 v 16 match. Only problem was that the person that picked up the flag died instantly after jumping out of the base. Thankfully we had someone nearby and they picked up. They took a few steps and got shot to pieces. And miraculously we had another guy nearby that picked it up afterwords and ran off. They got a few steps before being mulched alive. So this continued. Every few steps someone else kept on picking it up. And what took about an eternity, we somehow managed to crawl that flag back to our base, like a mile or two away. It was a massacre. Team members died. I died. My brother died. Dozens of times we all died. Maybe we should have shot the other team more. But damn it if we weren't committed to retrieving the flag that match. We weren't even caring about winning. We just wanted that bloody flag after putting in all of that effort.

My craziest moment was in farcry 3 .there was this one outpost that i tried to stealthy take out but failed like 7-8 times and the 9th time i started stealthy let the animal loose and they killed it like instant so it didnt help me at all so i said f*ck it and used a grenade launcher took out the entire outpost and guess what after completing the outpost i got the totally unseen and stealthy bonus. I took out an outpost completely unseen with a grenade launcher

One time when playing skyrim I was doing the quest where you retrace your steps of your drunken stupor. I find I married a hagraven the previous day and I proceed to murder my beloved wife. While looting her corpse for the ring a dragon landed right behind and started breathing fire at me. Me being a bit low level try to find cover at the nearest object there which was the hagravens home (a rundown little shack with no door or roof). I flee in there thinking I'm royally screwed when I discover the dragon can't aproach the house because of these wooden piles around the frontside of the house. So I just stand there in the doorway shooting everything I can at him from a distance (magic, arrows, magic arrows) until I finally beat him. My ex-wife protected me from the grave. Another time was in assassins creed brotherhood multiplayer, I was looking for my target when I saw a group of NPC's who looked exactly like him. He used a skill to mask the NPC's to look like him. Me panicking thinking the target could jump out any minute and knock me down decided to gamble it and just stab one of them on the off chance I could get him. I pressed the assassinate button but i positioned my char a little wrong and he stabbed a random NPC sitting on a bench. Turns out that NPC was actually the target who used a cloaking skill to change his appereance. Oh and the last crazy moment was in Horizon:zero dawn. I was doing the final quest of the hunting lodge where you need to hunt the thunderjaw, Redmaw. I'm fighting Redmaw and I decide to use my ropecaster to tie him down. I wasn't really planning to do something I was just messing around. So I tie him down and I was running towards him to get some hits in when I saw the prompt to take over Redmaw. At this point I had upgraded my controlspear to max level but I never expected to be able to control Redmaw. I took Redmaw over and I had gained my very own thunderjaw pet. Unfortunately the quest doesn't end until you kill him so eventually I had to put him down but for the few moments that I did have him I felt very proud haha.

I always feel sorry, but these people are everywhere, some of them basically have to suffer this fate.

Started shadow of mordor on 360 (ew I know) and was enjoying myself, casually doing missions and grinding when "they" appeared. Forgot names by now but both were archers one was "lucky shot", other was "takra". Between both had at least 20 archers with them, lucky had rapid fire while takra had explosive shot, vault breaker, and immune to ranged....chaos insued. Bouncing around trying to not get shot while getting takra to blow up his own troops at the same time dodging lucky (who I killed with a stealth from above) was tricky but fun! The sad part is one of my branded Uruk killed takra(that guy went off a cliff!) then I found "olrok the destroyer "....killed him accidentally with a stealth from behind. Silver lining is that Takra came back as a warchief in story later and olrok was his bodyguard! So happy!

Just... Skyrim. Everything about Skyrim. For example one time I encountered a glitch where Farkas was stuck with his eyes closed it was so creepy but hilarious! Then another time I saw a character trying to chop wood with an ax but some some of the wood somehow glitched into his ax so it looked like he was trying to chop wood with more wood! XD Also another time a female bartender was standing behind the bar with a broom upside down in her hand looking at me and I was just like "Uh... I don't think that's how you sweep." Lol, it reminded me of that one episode of Spongebob where Patrick tried to sweep the floors with the wrong side of the broom. Not to mention the time I was fighting a forsworn and I think one of my followers used an ice spell on her or something because next thing I knew I was fighting a forsworn with an icicle in her face. XD Skyrim is a great source of glitches and funny moments, but so is Fallout. Once, I can't remember if it was Fallout 3 or New Vegas, I believe I encountered a skeleton with its head in the toilet. Last swirlie he ever received... Not to mention the time in Mass Effect where I somehow managed to flip the Mako upside down and get it wedged between these two beams or something and got stuck, lol.

Far Cry 5 is the best with friends. So the thing that has become my thing in FC5 is that my friend spawns in a vehicle, I take it off-roading and eventually get it wedged between some natural land formation - Three trees in the shape of a triangle for example. The best one is that I get a jeep stuck in a small crevice right at the foot of a mountain - couldn't move the car at all.

A Hero's Way, MGSV. Playing it for the first time, thinking I could tranq The Skulls, then the sheer panic upon realising that did not work and they knew my position, then jumping on the horse, Miller hanging on as they chased me. Yes, it's semi-scripted, but I have never felt a perfect sense of escalation, panic and fear in a Videogame. It was amazing.

craziest incident for me was in Skyrim as well, started fighting Drelas outside his cottage, he agros a bear nearby which then agros a Dragon who than agros an Ancient Dragon who proceeds to catch the attention of a bandit party and they all decide to be friends...... and attack me, only survived because the dragons kept breathing fire and ice and catching all the others in the blast as well.

One of the craziest moments i remember in video games is from GTA San Andreas where i was flying at top altitude then jumped out (as you do) parachute didn't open for some reason so I'm plummeting to certain doom until i land on a garden fence and somehow survived. Never been so astonished until i got hit by a random car in proper GTA fashion

My favorite moment was in GTA vice City. I got in the habit of playing the game as my own version called "Nice City". I would avoid running over pedestrians. Do missions with as few people killed etc. Naturally i ended up wearing the police uniform and stealing the cop cars as often as possible. One time when i was being followed by "All the cops" with all the stars i needed a quick escape so i entered a mission. It turned out to be the biker bar. There i was ( getting out of my cop car in the shot) walking into the bar surrounded by cops with their lights and sirens going, wearing my cop uniform all during the cutscene. When the biker said "You don't look like a cop", I was like, "Dam i was really trying too". My roommates at th time and i were rolling on the floor laughing. I recommend you trying this one yourself. It's the first biker bar mission that gives the line. ;)

Something that happened in Far Cry 5 recently was me and my brother tried to fly between a gap in the giant 'YES' sign and lets just say the YES sign now has a huge chunk out of it and serves as a constant reminder of our poor judgement lingering in the distance.

Today I saved a few hostages from their captors using stealth, swam across the river and headed towards the waypoint. We fought off the reinforcements, and got to the waypoint. I got the misson Success message, and as soon as I turned round, a Bear killed all the hostages in turn. That to me sums up the Far Cry series

Mine was in Mad Max. I was driving by a cliff face when a group on top of it noticed me and gave chase. They were hammering my car and as I was racing towards some sand dunes I noticed one parked on top. I got the countdown to my cars explosion and leaped out. It blew up the parked car and as I rolled I aimed my shotgun at an airborne pursuers gas tank, blowing it up and sending it directly into another in mid air. They were the last one! and as I limped away, reloading my shotgun I could see an epic sandstorm rolling towards me on the horizon. This immediately placed Mad Max in my top 10 of all time!

Just yesterday my brother was showing me of of Far Cry 5. He had an ally with him (Hank, if I recall?) who he was saying was unkillable because he could revive himself, but then proceeds to tell me that sometimes he likes it better without a partner. He was trying to take an outpost, and was scoping out all the guys, when suddenly Hank gets attacked by a moose and blows his cover. He shows me a bit more of the game, and then I go downstairs to eat dinner. As I'm eating I hear my brother laugh and I thought, "Did Hank blow his cover again?" Hank, indeed, did blow his cover again, this time getting attacked by a cougar. XD I guess Hank is an animal target, too? XD

In Red Dead redemption I was at the church, talking to the crazy skinny guy. It cuts to cinematic mode where the camera focuses on one character at a time. Now, at this time I was trying to complete as many of the achievements as possible. So it was to my surprise... My absolute wide eyed, jaw dropped, surprise, when I realized that the jackelope was in the back ground behind the skinny crazy guy. I had spent FOREVER, trying to figure out how to find the bloody thing and now it was here. It just showed up as if to taunt me because I was at the start of the cinematic as the camera jumped back and forth between Marston and the skinny guy. Every time I saw the skinny guy, I saw the jackelope as it was hoping off to the right in the background. And it got farther, and farther along with each cut. I gave up on the dialogue at this point and tried to skip through the story. By the time I rushed through it, the jackelope was gone. But boy did I sprint off in its direction. The jackelope did not get far, and my brother witnessed a grown man murdering a little rabbit with a shotgun.

The craziest thing, and stupidest thing on my part, that ever happened was in AC Syndicate. I had last saved the game right in front of a police station. Real life had intervened, so I hadn’t played in a couple weeks. When I loaded the game, I couldn’t remember the controls. I tried to climb a building, and shot a police horse instead. Suddenly, I’ve got 30 coppers running towards me, trying to kill me. I take off and evade them, but every time I think I’m safe, one catches sight of me, and I have to run again. I had a really good laugh at this incident 😂

My craziest was a series of events on far cry 4. I was online playing with my cousin and we were just walking in the game and I got attacked by an eagle. 2 seconds later, a tiger comes out of nowhere and attacked my cousin. Then a bear jumped out and killed the tiger. Then a guy in a van was driving by and hit the bear and killed it. Then an elephant ran through the road and took out the van and the guy. It all happened in 30 seconds. Craziest sequence to a game I’ve ever witnessed.

Craziest thing that ever happens to me in an open world game was me and my friends got a 5 star wanted level in GTA 5 and I ended up stealing a sail boat and my friend, Andrew, who always bought the best things when they came out, had the Back To The Future flying Delorian and used the rockets to blow up boats around me while my other friends, Brandon and Alaina, stole a police boat and used everything from Rocket Launchers to Flare Guns to keep all the other boats off of me that Andrew missed and then, after about 30-45 minutes of the slowest boat escape in recorded history, I wound up losing the 5 star wanted level in a sailboat. Not only the craziest thing I've ever done but definitely top 5 highest achievements I've ever had the luxury of getting in a game ever

Mine is also Skyrim and happened yesterday. Was doing an assassination in Whiterun and decided to turn into a werewolf to do so. I changed in my house ran out to much screaming, killed the guy and ran back to change back. When I had done so and went back outside it was to find the Whiterun guards going around on a mad rampage killing the villages for whatever reason. And then it turned out that one of the deceased has left me a bequest, so I actually made money out of it.

I was playing red dead redemption's dlc and had already found the war horse and when I cleared out one of the town's churparosa I think it was called I looked around and all of the horses in the town had turned to war horses. There were at least four other flaming war horses just standing around in this town!

Guess mine was in early game Dragons dogma dark arisen, (text wall) I had my follower and 2 npc followers i had borrowed from a couple of friends online. I was hunting down goblins and cyclopses in a valley where there is a supposed old battleground. there are ballistas on every side, I had hunted down one of the cyclops in the bottom and cleared one side of baristas then a mob of goblins came from behind that i had aggroed while traveling there, so full fight 2 cyclops balistas shooting and goblins. After a little bit a drake shows up that somehow had been aggroed on the way what it did was slaughter the last cyclopses and goblins then it hypnotised both of the borrowed followers I had and turned them against me, my own follower died. so in the chaos running from everything and the borrowed followers are much higher lv then me so they could 2 shot me easily, and i dont have items or spells to clear the efffect of of them, just have to wait for the effect to go off so backing of to a healing spring and running in circles around a rock to keep them from killing me and staying away from the dragon (who can fly and one shot me with a firebreath) the effect ended a couple of times and the dragon reset them so 2 hours of running and scrapeing the health-bar of the dragon(which had 8 bars 10k health each) with attacks that did between 68-112 dmg. on the last hp bar it turned tail and flew off and i had to wait for the follower effects to wear off. Went back and revived my follower then found the dragon and finished it off before it could rest and get hp back to torment me later.
