Good to see the Anson Museum show some of its engines in this video!

Keep these old engines and their technology viable by teaching younger generations because for some reason I’m thinking when today’s technology crashes and burns these old girls will help us rebuild.

I think you are sadly correct. These are my thoughts also.

A description of what those engines were designed for would have made this video even better.😊

Thst huge steam engine is awesome. Built in my home city of Sheffield and used in the rolling mills. That flywheel, I believe, weighs 25 tons! I seen it working and its an amazing sight.

I love British engines, especially the 2 strokes! I am in USA and have a few including a Villiers WX-11/WAH of 1931 vintage, a Stuart P-55 twin, Stuart P-4Y, etc. the Foden FD-4 is FANTASTIC in this clip! 4 cylinder 2 stroke diesel, sounded like a petrol V8! 🤤🤤🤤😋😋😋👍🏻 what a beauty! The Petter twin cylinder 2 stroke semi diesel was a sweetheart too! Beautiful engines from that country! Works of fine art, and easy and fun to work on as long as you have the correct spanners for Whitworth and BSF! 😋😋🙃 I love my British engines, and they fit right in with my other American engines! My faves are 2 stroke Detroit diesels and little 2 stroke Tecumseh/Power Products air cooled engines from the American stuff! My WX-11 is super reliable and my fave from my British engines! Cheers! 😋

Still can't beat the sound of a Napier Deltic engine - Two stroke delta 18 cylinders with 36 opposed pistons. Lovely sounding engines!

Should caption each engine

Why not add particulars about each engine as some others do so well???

I'd give you a thumbs up if you had captioned where each clip was filmed so we could plan on seeing them, never the less a great video!

Were these engines all run at no-load at normal operating speed? It would be nice to hear them running at full-load. That shouldn't be too hard to accomplish for the ones that are equipped with electrical generators.

The generator that drives this engine produces several kilowatts of electricity
