Crazy LOUD Exhaust for our Ducati Diavel V4! Termignoni Dragster Exhaust!

It's time to make our Ducati Diavel V4 sing!
So far we have done only the essential mods to our Diavel V4, like the NRC fender eliminator kit, CRG bar end mirrors, Evotech radiator & oil cooler guards, TWM fuel cap and so on, but after taking it to the dyno last episode and setting some baseline power numbers, we can finally begin the big mods!
And we start out with a roar by installing the new Termignoni Dragster exhaust. The process is very simple; the most difficult part was just lining up all the carbon fiber pieces. And don't let pictures deceive you, this thing looks amazing in person.
But, the most important thing is the sound. And it sounds incredible. This is one of the loudest exhausts we have heard, and it makes the V4 Granturismo engine sound like nothing else!

Agreed. Termi always has such nice looking exhaust and this was a bit of a let down to me. I don’t think it actually compliments this bike. The Akra looks way better in my opinion. Can’t argue it’s that Termi sound though.

If they change the design at all so does the sound most these companies focus on performance rather then tone but this company looks to be focused on tone rather then max performance which I’m all for even changing the length of pipe changes the sound and unfortunately a lot of pretty exist for bikes don’t sound the greatest in comparison to ones like these

FYI you WILL need a deep socket 10mm for the exhaust clamps I also recommend a ratcheting 10mm wrench, a 4mm stubby Allen key, and really think about the position of the clamps because they are inaccessible entirely once the carbon fiber is on

I heard one with the dB killer just yesterday and happy to report it does not mute the sound too much. I think just enough to get through some sensitive neighborhoods. But then again, I think under 4k rpm, without the dbkillers you can drive out of your neighborhood.

Cylinder deactivation is removed with Brentuning, but Termignoni still uses it. I think it is a must to keep it on, it gets way too hot without it.

I got to the last step and I can't wiggle out the muffler. What is the trick??? Did you loosen the rear header bolts? Or do I need to just keep wiggling on it?

Didn’t losen the header bolts. Removing the rear tire may help. Just first remove the rear header joint from the muffler and then remove the front one.

to be honest, i never liked the diavel as a bike. but this v4 diavel, looks so different, yet "familiar". and the termi exhaust actually looks good in the video, rather than the photos termi has on their website, i still think the older diavel v2 termi looks the best though.

As a note I already had my stock exhaust servo assembly replaced as it tore itself up at 8,000 miles I have 12,000 so far on my Ducati Diavel V4. The exhaust sound will now match the bike! I like that the db killers can be swapped in or out as well.

Great sound. Aftermarket exhaust’s are just too expensive to justify. I see Ducati released a full black cover for the stock exhaust. Looks way better. €500 here.

Don’t get me wrong the termi looks great. So does the akro version. Unfortunately, not road legal here and you’d absolutely be stopped for bursting ear drums 😂 My only option is ducatis black titanium cover. Looks great and hides the hideous chrome pipes of original set up. Greetings from Ireland 🇮🇪

@Motomillion I do....owner of Detroit Ducati said it does. When Acra exhaust came out they said it was the only exhaust you could use on V4 or it would void warranty. I like the Termignoni sound the best. Had one on my 1260S

Sounds great but that look is just not for me i'm afraid! Especially for the cost of these small bits of exhaust. I have an x-diavel and will not part with over 2k for a silly little exhaust. It's just robbery imo I got a full straight through system for my GSX 1400 which was 4 downpipes, Double link pipe and Two rear silencers for £500

Unfortunately we do not make instructional videos. The reference on the instructions are actually not bad, but I believe the color version is available through Termi’s website. The sound will be worth it.
