Your guitar is as beautiful as it sounds. And you play it masterfully! If music is a divine gift, that would explain a lot. If music is the creation of man, it reflects the very best of man’s heart, soul, and creative genius. To write a song that touches the hearts of millions of people; such as, “Crazy Love” is the gift of telling a truth that is universal. Divine inspiration or creative genius? Maybe they’re the same? I don’t know. You may not have written the music you once played on KZbin, but I’ve never encountered anyone who is “at one with the music” the way you play it. Others play notes and chords. You play the heart and soul of the song while playing the notes and chords. In other words, I’ve always found your videos to be incredibly interesting for the skill of your performance as well as for the song you’re playing! Thank you Today, I’ll play “Crazy Love”, sorta. Your videos always inspire me to aspire to be the best player I can be. Go Bills!

Man, does this sound great JJ. Your playing, and that beautiful guitar - perfect combo. Suppose we should credit Rusty Young for the song as well.

Nice lesson. Since your video comparing Doves and Hummingbirds she's front and center after my fav J 200. Killing me this month!

Love your acoustic collection JJ. Sold my Martin and Gibson acoustics and only have 83 Guild D-35 left. More into electric but tunes like these inspire me to keep at least one acoustic around! Thanks!

Oliver Oliver - I've always found it helpful to make friends with someone who owns a bunch of guitars, that way you can spend your money on other stuff. And if the friend also owns a boat, you've pretty much got it made.

Plus the friend should own a good-sized truck, and his wife/girlfriend needs to have attractive friends hanging around at all times.

I always try to see if you have the songs that I am learning up FIRST JJ/pvt tricker so I don't have to go through the whole "now this is a fret board and this is a capo and these things here are called strings now to make a D' chord, first you take your pointer finger which I'll call digit one..." and so on until I pull an Elvis on my computer screen

I got a job at a recycling plant. When you were in your teens how long did it take you to save up to buy a new Guitar?
