I love the part towards the end where Mooie was in back, barked whatever message he needed to communicate, thought: "OK, I'm done".....then turned right around and went inside. Like the town crier. And, Randy looking into the camera, addressing Jim directly in his southern drawl makes your hubby an official "good ' ol boy". Enjoy your ribs ! Terrific that you can make them at home--really good full racks cost a fortune at restaurants.

I hope y'all appreciate how much hard work goes into protecting the house, and people in it, from those dreadful predators, post men and squirrels, it might look like Pollux and Mooie are sleeping when in actual fact they are in a state of high alert and constant readiness to pounce if needs be!!!!! 😀 Sleeping is for cats and wimps !

I want to offer some advice on pollack pulling. If while you are walking and pollack pulls STOP. Don’t allow the pull. Call pollack back to you. When he comes back…Go again but don’t go till he comes back. and as soon as he pulls stop again wait for him to come back repeat as many times till he doesn’t pull any more. It depends on pollack how fast he’ll learn it. At least that is how I learned not to pull ! Great Q&A! I enjoyed the video full watch incl ads 👍🏻😁❤️🦊

Pollux has the cutest baby bark when he's hunting for squirrels in the tree! It's ironic that Maxxie is smaller but has a more gruff sound in comparison. I'm sure that their trebles change with their level of excitement. It's just funny the snippets you showed caught them at opposite moments. Enjoy the Labor Day holiday and Randy's smoked ribs! Renee: I just watched the video for the 3rd time and when you addressed the question of walking the doggies one at time. Huskies were bred for pulling sleds up in the Arctic so Pollux may be doing it instinctively when he sees another dog besides him(?) He cannot help himself PS: I was worried about you guys being hit by the hurricane, so glad it took another direction and missed you.
@WelcomeToMyCurls3 жыл бұрын
That makes perfect sense! I've never been able to figure out why he acts differently when Maxxie is with us....but he certainly does. Hi Rene -- Randy looks great! He seems so happy and sure has a strong southern accent! BTW, I have the same issue with walking my 2 dogs. My chiweenie has been through training and now pulls again. So I bought a sling to carry my chihuahua while I walk the chiweenie on our long after dinner walk. I have NO dog questions -- you had already explained everything in detail! Come on people, wake up!! Here in Calif, it has been terribly hot & humid. We just had 2 days of cooler weather (thank you, Jesus). Now marine layer mornings, and its warming up to 83 at 10am currently. SO happy you and Randy are better healthwise. You both look great! Happy weekend, friend!

I prefer walking dogs separately anyway. It's easier on me; and I feel it's safer for them. I see people walking two or three dogs all the time and their dogs are all out in the street. I drive slowly through neighborhoods, so they don't have to worry about me; but I see people whipping around corners without slowing down all the time. But, then, I'm like a helicopter mom with dogs. The other reason I like to walk dogs separately is that I like to let them walk at their own pace when I can. I suspect Pollux's natural gait is much faster than Maxxie's. Renee: "Mooey, who you takin' too?" Maxxie: "Our KZbin audience, Mahhhhm. Who did she think I was talking too?" Renee, your husband is so cute. Of course, you know that. I enjoy his cameos, though. He seems like a really sweet husband; perhaps, because he has a very loving wife. By all means, have your ribs on your holiday, Renee. The most successful diets leave you not feeling deprived. The occasional splurge will not spoil your diet. I fact, it might enhance it by helping you keep on track the rest of the time.

I adopted my dog in April this year from our local ASPCA. They said she came in with another dog from a not so nice environment. She was adopted out several times and returned. But I think my Sunny girl is great. I went in the hospital from late May and I didnt get out until the end of August. I was so afraid that she wouldn't remember me but she did, she was all over me. Even though she had met my nephew she wasn't having anything to do with him. So my other nephew brought his German Shepherd puppy down and she finally came out from under my kitchen table. She's like Pollux, under the table is her safe place. The nephew with the dog brought his outdoor kennel because she went back under the table again. They had to leave her in the kennel because of her messing in the house and she would not let anyone near her. None of my family could take her because of that. Really for a shelter dog she only really 2 bad habits, stealing paper towels to eat and nipping at people's shoes, but not mine. She is smart and someone taught her a lot of commands. This dog really saved my life, literally. I had been sick for three days, and was beginning to think I might have COVID. I had laid down around 3 in the afternoon and she woke me up around 6 or 7 p.m. I thought she had to go out but she wouldn't. While I was I checked my blood sugar and it was dangerously low and I tried eating anything I could to bring it up. My vision was getting blurry and finally called the rescue squad. If it wasn't for my little girl waking me up, I may have died that night. At the hospital I did have to go on life support, because even drinking a bottle of glucose in the squad i still lost consciousness and didn't come off for 12 days. The low blood sugar was secondary to an infected Diverticuli, and I got septic from it. I thought I had a stomach flu. Suffice it to say, my little shelter dog is my hero. Sorry this was so long but I am so glad I adopted her, my little baby that nobody wanted or could handle when they did adopt her.

My dog had a special squirrel friend. The squirrel would come 6 ft from the sliding glass door and just sit there and eat a nut. And my dog would go nuts barking and scratching at the glass. Lol my dog got very sick because of Bravecto (cushings disease) and we had to put him down 3/30/21. He was a Cockachon poodle mix with a little bit of some other dogs. (The rescue told us he was a schnoodle but he had no schnauzer a all) He was unique and the sweetest smartest boy ever. He loved to help us. We were getting ornaments out of plastic tote and putting them on the tree. He decided he could reach into the tub and pull them out with his mouth and put them on the floor.... to help. We got it on video. I miss my buddy so much.

Pollux and Mooie have a great Mom! I've had dogs all my life. Just adopted a 5 year old black lab. She's the sweetest dog. My question is how do you keep your house so clean with 2 dogs? I have a hard time with one. 😀

Love them puppers ! What is the wet food you use ? 🐾🐾🐾

The dry food is Holistic Select Lamb & Rice. They get the dry food twice a day. But in their dinner, I add Beneful Prepared Meals (wet food) to the dry. I buy it in a variety of flavors.

That’s beautiful tree Pollux is barking at. It appears to be a weeping tree of some sort. What varies it? Thanks.

Hi Renee - Thank you for this bonus video ... I get to see the boys again and I love it! Yes, I never thought that it was too hot for you guys over there and I am sorry about that, but now I understand why we did not see Pollux doing his zoomies. I love this video as well, thank you. Have a great Labour Day Weekend and enjoy those BBQ ribs ... yummm!!! PS: You did a nice job with your day lilies despite the heat!

I love your white mini-schnauzer. My salt and pepper mini's Mom was white and her Dad was black. Her Brother who passed earlier this year was black. I can walk Elsa off leash on our property. She listens very well. Our cats use the doggie door but the dogs won't unless we are outside without them.
