I don't know the specs of the BR180 in 7.62x39 or M10X, but my understanding is the trick to getting 30 caliber subsonics to cycle is using a shorter gas system, which is how 300 Blackout does it, regardless of whether the gas system uses a short stroke, long stroke, or internal piston. Several designs, especially bullpups with constraints on gas block placement, are difficult to adapt to 300 BLK and have subsonics cycle.

Many factors involved including gas port size, buffer weight, bullet weight, powder burn speed etc. It's totally possibly to modify most standard ar's to run x39 subsonic reliably, or most other .30 cal including 308

Yep it does take some gas and operating mechanism setups to get them to run reliably.

That thumbnail absolutely killed me Ironic as it is, i was literally just getting what i needed for subsonic x39 this morning for video testing

About the BRN... Do they have the same "not enough bolt face" issue as 7.62x39 ARs? Or have they accommodated in some manner?

same

Same :D

10-20 degrees warmer, I wounder if it would have cycled.

Subsonic 7.62 is so weird... Especially a 220gr, considering that is literally what I fired from a suppressed 10mm Autoloading Pistol with a 4.67" barrel. Same exact kinetic energy transfer between my pistol and your rifle...

You did have sectional density on your side with the longer rifle bullets, but to a point you're right.

Could you please review the XM1158 ADVAP 7.62 if it’s available for civilians? Thank you

Interestingly, not a boat tail bullet. That's of little importance up to 100 yards

Was there a larger gas position you could use with the can on the M10X? You can flip it over and drill out one of the custom holes to make it as large as you need.
@BuffRANGE3 ай бұрын
It was flipped to the second "adverse" position. It's larger but not quite there. The 3 flip side ports are quite small and close enough that if I drilled those larger they might intersect. I'll likely drill the adverse port a smidge bigger.

Could you please review the .277 Fury A.K.A 6.8x51mm?

I actually emailed Sig and got forwarded to their marketing person. Justifying $4500 for their civilian model will be hard, but I'm interested in testing it, if I can get my hands on it.

Imma need you to try out the Hornady 111gr that just recently came out. You interested in trying them out? You should also look at Atomic Ammo in 7.62x39

I didn't know they existed. I'm guessing they are a copper expander? The Atomic Ammo is SPENDY :D I'd be interested in trying out the 111gr.
