Just a bit of a breeze. 😂 Growing up, we used to play on the rocks at South Shore in weather like this, and worse. We'd play dodge the waves as they came over the sea wall too, great fun. No one ever got hurt just soaked. Good video Stephen.

I think the Met Office underestimated the strength of this storm when they issued the weather warnings yesterday. Debris on the road this morning from the trees as this area was in the firing line for the worst of the winds east of the Pennines.

What a brave guy you are Stephen and very much appreciated by thousands for bringing your subscribers, and avid viewers this. Superb video. You always looked well protected from the elements. !! The towers coloured display of light colours looked amazing, loved it. Guess the best places for folk to go is inside pubs bars restaurants amusements or nightclubs and the likes, to get away from the heavy rain and battering wind !! I’m glad to see the lovely Christmas tree still standing in bad weather, I. All its glory. Looked great good lights. But the build up of water puddles on the pavements and slab stones. Really looked atrocious. welly. Weather for the attire ! Eh !! lol. Once again. Horrible evening. We got an email saying our illuminated western train tram was changed to a balloon tram due to staff sickness, then the wind cancelled it full stop. Instead of the tram and a night in the arcades and casino we stayed in the hotel with some beers and a movie night instead.
