The video mate took me back to my Weeks holiday 1st week in August 1980 down with my mates it only rained one night midweek was lashing down and very windy rest of the week glorious sunshine I remember going into the tower lounge drenched wet lol in those days it was like a cabaret lounge big fella on drums and another bloke in guitar then whoosh it’s 43 years later 😂 thanks Stephen really enjoyed your upload 👍

Yeah was rather dismal rain, does put a damper on things sometimes puts folk actually venturing out, not just locals but if also holidaying there be a wasted days if stuck in, they will as you say be all inside the venues !! Nice to sit out at seating when we get any decent climate in UK. !!!!! …. Yeah the tower and other lighting bright lights reflections on ground like a kaleidoscope of colours and shapes, quite mesmerising, very nice indeed. I say if you wait for the weather generally in this country. You’d never go out ! Case of just getting out and wrapped up appropriately. You want take a venture to funny girls, not everyone’s cuppa tea, but I love it and atmosphere in there, been few times at that newish venue and also I went to the old venue too. * just a heads up if your staying on the promenade make sure you bring your own milk because it’s so hard to come by had to walk at 3am to the petrol station passed the north train station was only place I could find with proper milk 😂 *
