Duke Nukem I & II Remastered was definitely worth including in this video, as it's still exclusive to the Evercade. The closest we have to it on PC is the Rigel source engine for Duke Nukem II, but technically nothing for Duke Nukem I as far as I know.

Thanks, helpful video. I’m just getting into Tanglewood but like a lot, also Goodboy Galaxy (but I would agree it would benefit from a bit more direction in the game). Love the indie hero carts too (tapeworm is so good).

@@bh1409 no problem, yeah Tapeworm is good. Actually better in the later levels. Don't enjoy the fast reaction stages though.

Evercade carts are just good value full stop. Goodboy Galaxy is coming out on Steam this month but I bet it costs more than the cart does which to me makes it a no brainer, who'da thunk it would be the case, instruction manual and cart that would be the retro gaming meta eh?

1) Good Boy Galaxy 2) Blood Omen 3) Duke Nukem 1&2 Remastered 4) Biomechanical Toy 5) Morphcat games (Micro Mages/Bobl/Spacegulls/Super Bat Puncher). Last one is the whole cart cause it's one of the rare example of a cart in which the quality is good across the board and evenly distributed on all the games included.

Good video Crazy! GoodBoy Galaxy defo most excellent! 😎 Although I was fedup that Z on the Bitmap Bros 2 cart had been tampered with, I have been having some fun with it so I would be tempted to add that cart to the list. If you would like some tips for lvl 1 read on... Grunts with Grenades can blast holes in canyon walls. Don't forget you can built other unit like jeeps and gun turrets by cancelling whats being built and pushing up or down. Lead the AI into a false sense of security, let them have the top right and middle right bases and work your way clockwise around the map. As long as you reach the enemy base with enough units just get them to storm the base to win, no need to control every part of the map! Have fun! 🏆👍

Great choices! In terms of cost vs the original for awesome games everyone should play: - Super Asteroids and Missile Command - Gimmick - El Viento - Dragon View - Ufouria Lynx 1 and Piko 1 are expensive on the aftermarket but not compared to the cost of the games on them!

Great choices! Legacy of Kain: Blood Omen is still available for purchase on the PS3/PS Vita Stores for about £5 if memory serves but it's going to have to be Evercade if you want a physical copy :-) Keep up the awesome work!

@@jayme69 Not sure if the PS3 store is still live, I know the Vita store definitely isn't. For ease of access definitely Evercade is the easiest choice.

@@CrazyBurger Yes, both stores are live, it's the PSP Store that's closed. You need to top up your PSN Wallet via your PS4/5 to make any purchases, so agree that it's not the most convenient :-)

@@obsoleteworlds No doubt the Evercade version offers great value on Piko Collection 1. You can find it on Steam also for £5.99. Or most likely find it lurking on a dodgy Anbernic device like a lot of titles on Evercade.. I tried to pick titles that you most likely won't find elsewhere especially your Chinese retro handhelds.

Legacy OVER Reaver?! Hmmm?!… 🤔. Not quite sure about that one Crazy burger. Its “rareness” makes it certainly attractive to own. But it look like more fun can be got from the Second game! But certainly together they make this cart one to buy!

@@gaz-a-reno8891 ah no.. you've misunderstood. It's games that are not easily found on other platforms. Soul Reaver will be part of the remasters whereas Blood Omen won't be. Blood Omen therefore is a game that arguably you are best to get on evercade. I dont necessarily think its better than Soul Reaver
