You don't seem fake-- you just do your thing and we do it along with you if that makes sense. You make me laugh, and I really like your style of camping whether it's in the truck or this style... to save weight and room use ketchup-mustard packets. I also put a tarp under my tent. the one i have is about 2 feet bigger than the tent bottom. before i take my boots off i knock off the dirt-debris and use the tarp at the entrance of the tent like a porch. helps keep the tent floor clean. also i take my motorcycle seat into the tent. that way its dry in the a.m. also if the seat is wet prop it up in the corner so the dampness will drain.

Watched until the end. Motorcycle camping is a real adventure. I had to smile watching you cook those hot dogs. Maybe a pan and some water would have made for a tastier dog. Still it is fun all the same. Planning on a camping trip this summer too, just me and the Low Rider. Being in the UK no fires allowed, so hoping for a good pub nearby. Thanks.

Oldy but goody. Guess I'll get my bike out and prep my cycle camp gear. I have to look for one of them cots, right now, my 3 inch air mattress works fine. I got one of them shorty camp chairs I bring along. Nothing like being out there and having a good seat to lean back in after a long ride. PS. I keep a siphon hose in my saddle bag so... there is always fire starter. Quit caring about all the new Harley models but yours seems like a Dyna Wide. Cheers.

I have eaten gas station food on the go on my bike before, it's almost a rite of passage! I haven't motocamped with my bike.... yet! Most of my equipment is too heavy for that rig. I'll get some more compact stuff to try it.

If you fold the grill grate down you can cook on that, you don't need to rely on the stick to cook your hot dog.

Don't forget the antacid. Drinking beer and hotdogs is a guarantee for hartburn for me. Also, when I went camping with my son, he brought peanut butter. I did have hiccups and the peanut butter works great - a must.

You need to get a short folding camp chair where you sit close to the ground. After a day on the road, it's nice to stretch your legs lay back and set your beer on the ground 6 inches away.
