Been out of the br British army 30 years and guys are still buying aftermarket kit to replace issued. Some things never change. Best review of the Snugpak i have seen. Thanks you for the in-depth review.

I use the whole snug pack system over the issued one and I love it. It’s warmer and so much more practical. Definitely worth the money you save weight and space In the field

Snugpak is nice, but for the price, I'll stick with my Woodland Camo Modular Sleep System. I bought the whole MSS for less than the price of the Snugpak bag.

Ordered mine from OutdoorGB. Even with $60 shipping from Britain it was still only $350 for the complete set, plus bivy sack and paratex liner.

@@brandondowning6243 I paid $150 for the complete MSS.

I might need a bigger sleeping bag, but I can make it work lol.

Can you layer the bag with a thicker layer like you would with the issued one?
@TrainLikeYouFight5 жыл бұрын
Yep, this is just the base layer. They have a much thicker one that you can pair with it.

Train Like You Fight nice! I don’t mind using army one but as you pointed out the issued one is super big and I need mobility and versatility. Hence the layered question.

@@alfredogarciajr40 I can't remember the exact specs off the top of my head, but I remember when I was doing my research for this video the full snugpak sleep system was something like 2 pounds lighter than the full Army sleep system.

What is the difference between the two since the sf one has 3 pieces and the army one has 5 pieces
@TrainLikeYouFight5 жыл бұрын
The army sleep system is a actually a 3 piece set, they call it a 5 piece because it includes 2 stuff sacks.
