Annoying as it might be for you the fan-bases and athletic departments of Clemson, FSU, and possibly Miami want to compete for national championships. Back when ACC teams were competing for national championships (2019) the revenue gap was less than 15m between us and the SEC. Now the future projections have the SEC making anywhere from 30-50 million dollars per school over the ACC. I don't blame my school, or any of the other schools that want to leave their conferences/have already left their conference for wanting to compete on an even playing field with the SEC and BIG 10.
