A lot of chefs use potato to thicken soups instead of flour. I remember Phil Vickery on This Morning said that when he was a chef in a restaurant, they used powdered mash for quickness.

Mmmmm!! I love soup, any type of soup and that toast looked delicious too. I could live on soup. Thanks for that yummy video. We are just starting our winter, although it’s been freezing for ages here, it always seems to be cold here as a matter of fact. I love winter when I cook yummy hot comfort food. The only part of winter that I like, except sitting down in front of the heater with a blanket and watching a movie. I can’t say curled up in the chair cos if I did that I’d never be able to move to stand up lol. Enjoy your upcoming weekend guys and hope your week has been good to both of you. Looking forward to your video on the weekend.

As a kid I would never eat tomato soup. I don’t know why, I guess it was one of those kid things. I make homemade vegetable soup and use quite a bit of tomato sauce and crushed tomatoes. I really love the broth the soup makes. When you get right down to it it’s tomato soup with a few veggies added in😂😂😂😂

Im only asking because my husband got me some pots of herbs (in small pots, sage, parsley, tyme) today and not sure what to do with them. Do i keep them in the pots or put them in bigger pots?
