Someone gave us some half and half recently and I really needed to use it up. So, today I made this recipe. OH MY GOODNESS! It was a super hit. I had a bag of cooked garlic shrimp and I tossed some of those in at the end. We used whole wheat spaghetti, and it was absolutely wonderful. My husband said to add this to the recipes to use during Lent, please! I said, "Sure!" but I'll add it to be a good easy recipe for using any time. THANK you so much.

Trying this very soon. Use chicken and chicken stock for higher protein content. Made paella last night. Grandson tried it and went back for another helping. His sisters laughed because he doesn’t like his mother’s paella. I followed your instructions. On Easter made the tortilla de papas, 2 of them. Not a bit left. Family is loving your recipes!

Fabulous recipe!! Packed with spicy flavor in a milk sauce that's creamy without the cream. I loved the garlic! I want to try the sauce's versatility on roast pork. I'd advise finishing the sauce before boiling the pasta for mine took longer than expected to thicken. When using fresh pasta with a two minute cooking time, you must finish the sauce first.
