I believe seeing a video a while back that had shown those two variations one way was called Paradox (your twist) the other way was called Hamdox (your fan). Either way Thankyou for the breakdown and experimentation!❤❤❤👍

Hamadox is a combination of the pattern Hamail and Paradox. I have a video for it here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/mZCuaoRjgaxpd7c Thank you for your comments. I'm glad you enjoyed the video. :)

Lovely. Note, it doesn't matter which corner you start in. All of the segments in the center circle could start in the center of that circle. What IS important is the direction in which the lines go. To get the appearance of twisters, ALL the lines must go in the same direction in their segment. You started in a clockwise direction, so as long as ALL of your segments are done clockwise, you can start in any corner and get the correct look. To get the fan look, you need to do opposite directions next to each other (which is why it doesn't work perfectly for triangles... or any shapes with odd numbers of 'neighbors') Beautiful work though, I'd love to try this in color... I'm just not sure if I should try doing the lines in color, or doing the lines black and filling in the spaces with color? It might look awesome with each twist a different primary color, in a gradient either from one side to the other, or from the edges to the middle. I guess I will just have to try them all! Oh darn! LOL

Thank you, Susan. 🥰 You are correct and it is so much fun to play with this pattern. It could look really nice to fill each space with color. I've also tried using a different colored pen for each space. I would love to see your results!
