I have come as far as to about 9:15 but when I click on "Preview", like you do here, nothing seems to happen. It doesn't randomly create more splines ("hairs"). I'm at a loss.

I looked at many tutorials about the x gene and you were the one who explained it best. You explain it as if you were explaining it to an idiot. This is very good.

Hi Monica, great video again. There is a major problem of moving xgen with mesh, eg, posing head after creating xgen. The mesh moves without the hair. ;)

When I press Preview, I am getting a message saying "No preview visible. The Description is set to use guides, but no guides have been created". Although I have created several guides following this tutorial. What is going on?

This has to be the buggiest addon or whatever you wanna call it. First off I keep getting this no attribute found error second of all there are no premade points on my model third of all the preview doesn't work when I add my guides I've been trying to work this for hours
@AcademicPhoenixPlusАй бұрын
@nightswolf-qu5md it does take some getting used to. I would make sure your project is set correctly, and to not save as... just keep saving on the same file. That resolved most of my hiccups. I hope that helps!

@@AcademicPhoenixPlus Yeeeeh sorry I was a bit frustrated when writing that haha I actually figured out it was an issue with the density. My mesh was very small so I had to turn the density up a lot for the hair to actually show. Thank you!
