The Boss AI Toolkit is a simple to integrate and highly customizable boss fight creation system. Use it to create epic boss enemies for your game, whether it's an RPG or an FPS. Add different phases and attack patterns to your bosses using a flexible Ability system. It draws inspiration from games with a heavy focus on RPG boss battles and/or MMO raids.
It was made with existing projects in mind, so you should be able to use your own player characters with it.

Yes it can definitely work for normal enemies as well. The ability system is very flexible

I just bought the AI Behavior Toolkit yesterday and I going to have to buy this asap lol. Any chance you can do a video on how to integrate AI BTK with the Flexible Combat System?

You just have to right click on the Boss AI Toolkit folder and Migrate to your project. You will have all the needed files. Then you can watch the tutorials on creating bosses and integrating your custom Player

Nice I’ll probably be getting this! Compared to the ai behavior toolkit this feels a lot more focused and streamlined towards reactionary melee combat. If this one as easy to use as the other toolkit it’ll be a great way to add instant enemies to your game. In the case of using this for powerful non boss enemies that can be manipulated more easily by the player, would you consider adding juggle logic? Like a state where the enemy can be launched, and kept in the air when hit, or get launched in a horizontal / diagonal direction based on the attack type? I added juggle logic to the ai toolkit enemies but it’s super sloppy.

I definitely got the idea for this after I played Elden Ring. As for the juggle logic, do you know a game I could reference so I know how it should look/feel like?

Here are some references! I know juggling would look funny on big bosses but it would be a really cool option to enable in the case of smaller advanced enemies that use your boss logic. There are usually 3 types of states for launching and juggling; launch up, sustain in air, and knockback. Knockbacks usually apply to grounded enemies as well. I’d probably have like a shield bar that gives the enemy super armor and when it depletes the enemy’s defense is broken and able to be juggled, flinched, or just in a stunned state for an opening until the shield bar comes back. But the way I implemented it was I used animnotifies for the player attack montages to signal what type of launch the attack would perform on the enemy. The notifies would set variables to true or false on the player so if launch is true the enemy would launch when being hit and if knockback was true the enemy would get knocked back when being hit. I also had to do a lot of casting to reference the player’s weapon colliding with the enemy to signal getting hit.. so it would be a pain in the ass to copy and paste my juggle logic into your boss ai. Probably maybe hopefully a better way to do it in terms of a plug n play enemy. is it possible to integrate this to non fantasy boss fights? like tanks, or helicopters and that kind of stuff? or maybe soldiers?

Yes it's possible. But the movement might be weird for wheeled vehicles since the Boss AIs don't move and rotate like cars. But Helicopters and soldiers can be easily done

No, bosses can just shoot projectiles. It's not really a gun. Its really more of an ability system

HI Drix. Yeah this is Amazing We spoke ages ago prob years lol i was trying to make a supernatural type game and this is what i meant When i wanted to do something like this with AIBT but unfortunetly cant afford anything atm :( Yeah Can i still achieve this with AIBT? Havent done any ue4 stuff for ages.
