In this video I try to recreate Malenia Blade of Miquella from Elden Ring in Unreal Engine 5 using my Boss AI Toolkit.

wow this is massively helpful, I thought I had some of my boss abilities all sorted but after watching this so many new ideas and areas I can improve them, please do more of these full boss setup videos. The tips in this video will keep me busy for ages now haha its so much more useful seeing why each section is added and what exactly it does than it just appearing in the template as it makes it far easier to understand and learn to use your toolkit properly

Thanks a lot for the tutorial. Been great to follow along and learn. Since you asked for what we would like to see: could you make a tutorial on a projectile focused boss with: - heavy projectile spawns (almost like walls of projectiles coming at you like in the game 3rd person shooter Returnal) - outward moving damage circles (also similar to the Elden Beast Boss) - slow dropping projectile (spawning when the boss is mid air), which explodes on collision with the ground, applies area damage and spawns a damage circle from the example above

Can you next do a range-based boss, please? I am currently trying to work out a sniper fight with a sharpshooter who is attacking from longer distances and moving pretty fast to evade the player's assault rifle. My inspiration is the Quiet fight from Metal Gear Solid V, where Quiet is always on the lookout for the player while pendling between three different spots, at nearly supersonic speed. If not I would at least love to see any other sort of ranged bossfight :)

I was planning on making a bullet hell boss next. There's an ability called TweenTo which you can use to move the AI to specific locations.

Not true. I have packed it, It works completely fine. Just ensure you don't forget to "Build all levels" before packing.
