Question, the Garmin 93sv has 17,000 lakes maps on it. My question is does all of the lakes you bring up on there have the contours. The salesman in Cabela’s showed me the Lake cross creeks refugees in TN. I haven’t been on the lake yet to see for my self. I’m thinking the gps on the system is acting as google earth map and just showing the location and view of the surroundings. What do you think?

How do you delete the Quickdraw starter maps that are useless?

You have to share your data with the whole community to be able to view your hard earned data. Wish I would have known this before buying all garmin. Won't happen again

I just found this out myself. Not happy at all. Local lake has huge winter draw down and fishes much differently than summer pool, I was hoping to be able to study before fishing trips. Can only do it on the device or computer, not active captain app on mobile device.

Hi Anthony, glad to hear this was helpful. Yes, Humminbird offers custom realtime mapping (Autochart Live) with their Helix and Onix line. Lowrance has custom mapping as well (Insight Genesis), but it doesn't perform in realtime - it requires some data transfer between the sonar and a computer.

no it records 10 FT aROUND BOAT REGARDLESS

After recording how do you save it and where do you go to bring it back up or look at it again I’ve just got mine and haven’t really had any time to do any recordings with it yet thanks a lot
