I would really appreciate if you could do a video about layering products correctly and what products to not use together in a skin routine. There's too much confusion out there. Also, as a person of color with a deep skin tone, I've yet to find a mineral sunscreen that doesn't leave a white cast. A lot of manufacturers and influencers would make claims about a mineral sunscreen not leaving a white cast. However, I invariably find that they are not talking about people with deep skin tones. As such, I'm just going to stick with chemical sunscreens but need to find one that is oil and fragrance free and also is mattyfying. Any recommendations? I have combination skin with an oily t-zone, which gets more greasey in the warmer months. Thanks!

EASIEST WAYS TO REMEMBER: *Thinnest to Thickest...* (with some exceptions of course) *&& Cleanse. Treat. Moisturize...* *Sunscreen last* Skin care is REALLY not as complicated as some make it seem. There are actually very few products that are advised to not be used in conjuction... basic rule of thumb, if you're using one of these do not mix with the others: Retinoids, Vitamin C, Benzoyl Peroxide, AHA's/BHA's/chemical or physical exfoliants, etc. Besides that, you'll be just fine. && You can in fact still use all of the things I mentioned above in your routine !!! Just use 1 at night 1 in the morning, or alternate between the products on different days/nights👍 && Even still, lol, some people CAN && DO use these things together😏 if their skin can tolerate it without irritation. So it's all just trial && error, as everyone's skin is different && of course also depends on tolerance, skin type, skin concerns...

@@nicoledistasio1072 Hey. By standards you should use niacinamide then retinol. You have to please please remember that it isn’t recommended that you use retinol everyday because it’s alcohol so it will dry your skin out, use it once a week then after you’ve built tolerance then you may can increase it 2/3 times a week . Love that fact that you give great suggestions for all price ranges. Unfortunately we can not all get a referral to a Dermatologist..so we are stuck with using over the counter Retinals..So your recommendations are very helpful..

Cosmetic dermatology is not even covered by insurance. An appointment cost $400, and Retin A was $75 a tube.

Looking forward to the hyperpigmentation video 🙏. Please address how to use ingredients to target pigmentation. I use tretinoin at night and Vit C in the morning along with sunscreen but I don't see improvement 😥

Video ideas: Back acne washes? What causes it and how to treat it. Any special care needed for people with beards? And beard oils that don’t cause pore clogging and oily skin. Body wash ingredients that are good for hydrating skin. What body moisturizers to avoid? (Back acne gets worse when I moisturize so I’m curious why) Lip care? Lips keep getting extremely dry. Started using polysporin lip care at night and it’s helped but others might still have this issue. Sorry for the long message. Started using retinoids because of the channel! Thanks again for all the great content.

Hi there! My bf has back acne and I’ve been helping him and this is what we do. Try an exfoliation body wash with a loofah and really get in there on some days. Or a normal body wash an a stronger body exfoliant 1-2 times per week. I’ve noticed he really doesn’t wash his back well and let’s sweat sit after the gym. You really need to make sure you shower frequently and actually scrub your body well. Scrub, gently, but just for longer than you normally do. You can even get back facials! Call any local salon who offers facials :) Basically what they will do is a cleansing, an exfoliation, extractions - don’t try at home, and moisturizer. Also the moisturizer you are using could be clogging your pores even more! It needs to be a non-comedogenic moisturizer, which basically means it won’t clog your pores. Hope this helps!

I recently started using curology. Just their cleanser and gel moisturizer. I also use a lotion with retinol when I feel too dry. It’s been less than a week and it seems as though my acne is clearing, but I have a dry flaky ring around my smile lines. Does this mean it’s working well? Or do I need to do something to further hydrate
Globe is great, those plants in particular are meh (get something with a bit more gusto) and I think a cool painting/picture on the wall behind you guys would be awesome! Nothing too distracting, just a little color.

What to do when the mentioned cerave and la roch posay products are not available in EU? What else I could order ? I am lost a bit and tired of hunting from the other side of the globe a very basic product.

Great video! Would you guys be able to make a video about when to use particular products if you are using many active ingredients at the same time. For instance, I am using a retinol and want to use niacinamide and vitamin c serum, but I've heard these cannot be used together. How could I incorporate them all into my routine?
@victoriaraghunanan82343 жыл бұрын
You can definitely use niacinamide in the morning and night. Use the vitamin c in the morning and retinol at night.

Please can you do a video on what my skincare routine should be? I want to tackle fine lines and wrinkles and redness (not like rosacea, more like if you get really flustered or embarrassed and ur face goes red). Also I have some open pores which I'd love to tighten. My problem is I also have eczema and have no idea where to start as I've never had a skincare routine other than managing my eczema. I'm mid 30s. Thank you 🙏🙏🙏

Skin care is so confusing to me. I had acne and treated it with Acutane long time ago, but I still use the Retin-A tretinoin cream when I have breakouts (as recommended from my last dermatologist) So I have an acneic skin, uneven texture and I am on my 30’s starting to have wrinkles. So I basically need almost all the ingredients. How would I combine everything?? Would you guys make a video on how to layer the products correctly and what can or can not be used together??
