Do you just have an Etsy account as a buyer? Then yes you need to also open a seller account. It can be within the same account/email. Go to Etsy.com/sell and follow the instructions for opening a shop.

Hi, curious about the quantity of listings on ETSY, is the listing charge charged at the time you list your digital product or at the time it sells? I am guessing at the time it sells if you are recommending 999 at time of listing?

It’s charged at time of listing. When it sells and auto renews you are charged again. You are not paying 999 listing fees at once; that just gives it 999 times to auto renew.

I’m honestly surprised to see an edited comment but I appreciate you coming back to do so. I’ve not noticed what you originally remarked on but will keep an eye out for it. You can definitely do the profit first method of separating out money into accounts at another bank! Relay just has tools built in to automate moving the money around. You can set up a lot of rules that will put money where you want it automatically. I like having everything in one place and automated so I literally never have to think about it. But the method can be done at any bank that allows you to open multiple accounts.

Hello! I’m having some issues setting up my shop and I don’t know if anyone else has encountered the same problem. When I’m at the billing section I enter my credit card information as requested but it keeps declining the payment of the initial fee. I’ve tried multiple times and checked my info is correct but I can’t seem to go past that stage. Does anyone know what I could do? (I’m not from the US, if that’s relevant)

I've not tried to find out the max. You can use the same information on multiple as I've done 3. But you will need to use different email addresses.

Yes you should be able to change it! I’ll include instructions below but you can also contact Etsy if you have trouble. To update your legal name: On Etsy.com, go to Shop Manager. Choose Finances. Go to Legal and tax information and select Edit. Under Primary taxpayer ID, select Edit. Select whether you’re changing your name for a legal or non-legal reason. Change your name and select Save & upload documents. Add a government-issued photo ID. If you’re changing your name for a legal reason, also add one of the following: - Marriage certificate - Divorce certificate - Certificate of commitment - Legal document showing your legal name change Select Submit & update. If you update your bank information, the name on your bank account must match the name or business entity you have provided.

I'm about to start my 1st time etsy acct & I've watched yours & other etsy informative videos. I understand the gist of setting up shipping profiles but no video has yet to explain how to figure out how to create multiple items bought shipping profiles cause there's no way I could enter all the possible scenarios.
