Hi all, thanks for watching and for the feedback about the new set-up. Yes, I know my drum stool is squeaky and the camera is shaking somewhat as I hit the kick! 😂A can of WD-40 and a more substantial tripod are on order! Thought I’d just crack on in the meantime, hope it doesn’t impair your viewing too much and again, thanks for all the lovely feedback. Cheers! :)

I couldn’t agree more with you, Mike! The six stroke role is a drummers’s drug! I use it all the time in my playing. It is highly addictive. This is the technique that will get newer drummers over a huge wall and blast their drumming world wide open!!! There are no ends to the permutations you can orchestrate around the kit with the six stroke roll!

Hi, thanks for watching. The groove I'm playing here isn't really a "beat" as such, more of a "time feel", where I'm just improvising and changing it up as I go. It contains elements of ghosted notes, open/close-hats etc. I feel that this sort of playing just comes over time with listening and studying great music, combined with plenty of sitting at your kit and jamming!
