I was a bit surprised to learn the Orchard Works shop was literally 20 minutes away from me. Suffice to say, I finally got myself a wand from them after previously spending hours combing countless sites for a good wand for my shelf. Huge props for putting up the vid!

Mine is the exact same design as yours(so I'm not sure about each handle being different) and similar in detail: black walnut, dragon heartstring core, 13", and rigid. Yours does look great btw!

Literally just today, i didnt have anything to do after work so i was having a cold one in my back porch and decided you know what, ima make a wand today. Went around the yard and found a good stick. Started wittleing it with my knife and about 30 minutes later i had my first custom wand. Pine wood, 12 inches, stiff, Phoenix feather core, and also a ghetto electrical tape grip. Her name is Switch.

Have you been to the Splintered Wand in Seattle, WA? Not only is the 3-floor restaurant have amazing food and drinks (complete with a menu where the backside has "muggle" descriptions of the items for those that aren't wizards). They also have a wand shop where your wand wood and core are selected and built, in person. The core is encapsulated in a crystal vial before sealed inside the wand. AMAZING!

You didn't mention what house were sorted in. I was sorted to Hufflepuff. I could make my wand by myself and from same wood because i may have access to hazel wood... wild and domestic.

My wand is Laurel wood, Unicorn hair core, 12 1/4", slightly springy flexibility. Are they actually usable, as in not wear out or break easily, or would they be just for display purposes? Also, how much would they cost if I ordered one?

The cost varies on the wood, and I don’t think they’re breakable. They are wood, so I’m sure if you really wanted to snap it in half you could 😂 but it will be as strong as however strong the wood itself is
