Creating Sharknose Goby Cleaning Stations... in your own reef tank!

Gobies are a charismatic group of small fish popular in reef tanks and common on coral reefs. They're prolific breeders which has lead to success with captive breeding, so they're commonly available with no impact to the world's oceans at all. These fish do well in even the smallest nanoreefs.
You can encourage more natural behavior from your Sharknose Gobies (Elacatinus evelynae) by setting up a cleaning station for them to use. In the wild these gobies would spend their entire adult lives - only around 50 days or so - at a prominent mound of Faviidae coral - things like Favia, Montastrea and Platygyra, commonly called the brain corals or pineapple corals.
You'll want to create a mound of coral and live rock with folds and indentations in it. In the wild, these gobies strongly preferred this sort of mound to a more smooth one. The complex surface features give the gobies some security, a place a to hide.

Yea! They live such short lives in the wild. Luckily they can live significantly longer in our tanks, but still only a few years.

I bought my fish shark nose gobby baby. Hidden 1 week . After I bought him. Then I would see him out few minutes and gone. Now I see him on the my Coral s and rocks I add new fish . I seen him chasing the new fish cleaning it I'm liking cool .
