There is no need to render twice! You can output both images at the same time with some simple nodes in the compositor.

I'm trying to do this technique for web development purposes so having a video with no background is crucial. Would this technique work to make a quicktime video with no background, cause I noticed you did add a background but if I'm placing this video onto a website I need the background to be transparent. Thank you for your time and help. You have a great channel. :)

Any backgound should work, Including the solid color of a webpage. The problem is getting it to blend with add on a webpage using HTML5. I've never coded using HTML5 so I'm not sure if it's even possible. If you can blend using additive in HTML5 you could output two quicktime videos and layer them in the webpage itself. But idk

Still doesn't fix the problem. We need the transparent PNG with bloom, not this. Because not all software has the blending effects.

bloom is an additive effect, which is straight up impossible to replicate with a regular image format i believe openexr can handle bloom and transparency, but it's not really widely supported

@@luigitko then just try saying it on the thumbnail, title, beginning of the video, or description. Cuz else it's clickbait man 😉

@@starbrine2020 i didn't make the video but keep in mind though u CAN get a similar effect with regular formats, it just won't be additive u wanna combine three images - regular colored image with no transparency, but edit the glowing parts that will be transparent so they are completely solid-colored and don't fade out - silhouette alpha mask (as mentioned in the video) - another mask made from the value channel of your render (you can use a separate color node set to "hsv") then in the compositor or photoshop you can add the two masks together and use it as the transparency mask for the colored image and it should give you a convincing effect if that explanation was confusing you should take a look at rosalina's render in the game super smash bros. ultimate in photoshop. if you disable the alpha channel, you'll see how the glowing parts are solid colored and all the fading out is done with the transparency
