I want to start a homeschool support school. I want to help homeschool parents realize that they can teach their own children at home. I'll just supplement with activities that are harder to do at home because of space and materials needed. I want to read aloud to the kids, do projects, art projects, etc. I'll probably do unit studies, notebooks, lapbooks, etc. We will have coaching for the parents, too.

Don’t be!!! This was such a brave move. You got this. In fact, look up Kipp Academy it’s in FL (I think about 45 minutes to an hour outside of Orlando), my friend just resigned this year and this fall she will open her doors for the first time. She spent about a 1.5 years creating. I love the idea of starting as a tutoring and branching out. Let her know Cindy told you to look her up. She is on FB too.

Also idea!!! I know several teachers who have done this. In addition, there are many parents who are homeschooling now and are looking for support via teaching classes and or supporting what they are doing. There is a market forever thing. You just have to find the people looking for your service.

Im starting a special needs school. Home schooling my 9yr old autistic/sickle cell son first. Then Id like to start with parents that I have meet and referred help for them. Im a MAN by the way.

This is wonderful. My microschool is for neurodivergent students. I would with students who have dyslexia, ADHD and I’ve also worked with a few students on the spectrum. I would also eventually like to make more content or. Just trying to figure out what that is if they called themselves homeschoolers or what .
