Hey! Sorry for the question, but how did you know that they spawned? I want to try this with my pair but I’m worried I won’t know if they spawned
@tbonesfishies17974 жыл бұрын
Hi just like to know?, How are they ready to spawn.
@tbonesfishies17974 жыл бұрын
Hi Kasia, just wondering if i could keep 1 Betta with some guppies in a 10gal tank or can you even put them together. Please help.
@cockatoode7054 жыл бұрын
I’m not kasia but i know the answer. It’s hit and miss. You need a betta that can be kept with other fish in general and guppies that are different colors. I kept a few tuxedo koi with a blue hm for several months without incident, but when I tried to switch him out with a red butterfly crowntail he immediately started flaring at them and had to be removed.
@CreativePetKeeping4 жыл бұрын
@@tbonesfishies1797 Hi! Its best to condition your pair for 2 weeks. Feed them well and let them flair at each other every day for a few minutes. In regards to guppies, imo all bettas are different in their personality. I've had better luck w really mellow bettas that are not that interested in flaring at other fish.

Wow. Great. We accidently bred some bettas in my 50 gallon outside pond . It is heated ( two heaters) and over grown with vegetation. Magnum polisher filter. Other fish in there . Tetras,danios , mollies, corys , platys .... Only three babies survived( that i can see). But they are healthy. Almost half inch and colored up before i knew they were in there.
