Yeah I loved how we could really see how Dr Frankenstein was trying to do better than his first attempt, use what he learned from his first “monster” to create a real person. He just kept sidelining and neglecting Frankenstein in this pursuit and well… it didn’t end well. Her whole backstory was great and I absolutely love her design. So far dr phosphorus is no. 1 for me but the bride is awesome, I just love this cast.

@@christinkle I wouldn't even call that sidelining or neglecting Frankenstein, Victor was just making sure the Bride was in her full capabilities to be with him when the time was right but patience isn't the monster's strongest suite. Frankestein didn't even want to give Bride some privacy and always butted in. And being filled with jealousy and rage by the end just makes this version end up being douchey and overly needed to be honest. No idea how the show will even attempt to redeem it because the monster only thinks about himself and his needs, to the Bride's. Maybe if the series find an angle to make him redeemable and/or relatable then it'll be a writing feat worth to praise, but currently Frankestein is full of red flags. D:

My theory is when Victor was teaching Eric, he focused on intelligence rather then emotions. That's why Eric may seem intelligent and philosophical, but clearly doesn't understand the concepts of love and how to process his emotions. Pairing that with not having any other social interaction besides the doctor, it explains why he's so stunted.

Circe is Zeus's second cousin, she is the daughter of second generation Titan Helios (The Sun) her mother was one of Oceanos's daughters, so from both her Mother side and her father side she has titan blood on her, all her 4 grand-parents are titans, her gran-grand mother is Gaia (The Earth) and her Gran grand father is Ouranos (The Sky). She basically has the same level of divinity that any of Zeus's children, to be honets she has more divine blood on her than some of the bastard ones have, she just dont have many worshipers making her a very very very lesser goddess the "Scrape the bottom of the pot" type of goddess ( but yes she has 0% mortal blood on her) extra fun fact Circe and Achiles are in reality first cousins since their mothers are siblings

ngl I felt nauseous watching them have sex and can't tell if the show intended for me to feel that way or not. I hope they understood how gross it still was for it to be the father figure getting with her (like you said, arguably worse, because at least Frankenstein is clinically stupid - and would be a clear villain. Right now I genuinely can't tell if the writers intended for Victor to be evil (and for that to be part of Bride's growth, not just his death, but the fact he sucked) since they made it in a way that a lot of people don't think it's messed up. He was definitely abhorrent though)

Here are my predictions for who lives and dies: Rick Flag Sr. - DEFINITELY LIVES. He's already been confirmed to make appearances in Superman and Peacemaker S2, so it's obvious he's not going to die. The Bride - PROBABLY LIVES. Gunn confirmed that several of the actors in Creature Commandos will reprise their roles in live action, and The Bride is played by Indira Varma, so she's probably safe. It's also plausible that Varma's casting could be a way to misdirect viewers so they don't expect The Bride to die. Doctor Phosphorus - PROBABLY DIES. He's (at best) a C-list Batman villain, so I don't see him surviving till the end. Phosphorus also tried to steal the tablet from Flag, so he's also the least trustworthy of the group. Maybe he'll make it through this series alive, but I'm not counting on it. G.I. Robot - 50/50. He seems to be one of the more reliable members of the Commandos and is a walking killing machine, but he's also a relic from WWII. He was created to kill Nazis, but after the war ended he lost his purpose, so he'll either go out in a blaze of glory or live to continue killing bad guys for his government. Weasel - PROBABLY LIVES. He's expendable cannon fodder, but Gunn has implied that Weasel was actually framed for the children's murders. That gives me reason to believe that he'll survive the series and have the chance to prove his innocence. Or maybe he'll just be killed and forgotten about. Nina Mazursky - PROBABLY LIVES. She's the nicest and most reasonable member of the Commandos, so she's likely to survive the series. That being said, it's also possible that Gunn is setting her up for a very sad and emotional death. Eric Frankenstein - 50/50. Hard to say at this point. He's not a main member of the Creature Commandos yet, but it looks like he'll be a wild card reluctant ally to them in the near future. Eric's a hero in the comics, but this version seems to be a lot more emotionally stunted and is utterly despised by The Bride. He's also played by David Harbour, so there's a chance Harbour could play him in live action in the future, but Eric's design in the show doesn't look like it's made for live action the same way The Bride's design is. It would take A LOT of CGI and/or prosthetics to transition this Eric Frankenstein to live action. This makes me believe that Eric will die in the series, possibly in a heroic sacrifice to try and redeem himself to The Bride. There's still a chance that Eric won't die, and then maybe he'll become a hero and a Creature Commando full time. Circe - 50/50. She's the main antagonist of the show so far, but I'm not sure if she's going to die. Circe is one of Wonder Woman's biggest enemies and I feel like it would be a waste to kill her off before she's even faced this franchise's Wonder Woman. She's also played by Anya Chalotra, who's an actress mainly known for television and theater, so she can definitely play Circe in live action for that Paradise Lost prequel series or a Wonder Woman movie. Princess Ilana - PROBABLY DIES. There's something off about her. I think there's a deeper reason for why Circe is invading her country. I have a theory that the Princess is going to be revealed to actually be the real antagonist of the series and is seducing Rick Flag as a way to manipulate him. Pokolistan seems to be a VERY poor nation, but that doesn't stop the royal family from living in luxury while everyone outside the castle barely scrapes by on resources from other, much richer nations. Ilana's mom is also REALLY old and sick despite having a daughter that looks to be around 30, so Ilana might be poisoning her or something. Ilana might not even be the real Princess of Pokolistan, as she's significantly more attractive than any of the past rulers that were seen in the paintings. I'm thinking Ilana's an evil sorceress (possibly immortal as she has a thing for older guys), took over Pokolistan at some point, is planning to take over the world or something else really evil, and Circe is trying to stop her before moving on to taking over Themyscira. She's probably the villain the Commandos need to kill. Alexi - PROBABLY DIES. He's a goofy supporting character, but he's also loyal to the Princess. I foresee him either dying tragically or being killed by one of the Commandos.

Eric(Frankenstein) is hilarious. When they revealed the root of Bride’s hatred toward him, I initially assumed he was meant to be a character the audience would love to hate. But as the show flashed back to different eras, showing Eric persistently annoying Bride across time, I found myself unable to hate him. On the contrary, he’s oddly endearing, and now I’m excited to see what kind of mischief he’ll stir up next

The Monster is very hatable for the way he refuses to let go of the Bride, thinking he is owed her because he facilitated her creation. But Frankenstein himself is just as awful for his affair with her. She was mentally still close to a child so that was not fully consenting, it’s borderline incest because he’s been raising her like his child and she very much loves him as a father, she’s a reanimated corpse so it’s as close to necrophilia as you can get with her still being sapient, and it’s technically cucking since the monster watched it happen? Or maybe just cheating even though the two weren’t together to begin with
